Reviews

It's a pretty good chair. Does what I expected. It's kind of creaky straight out of the box which I only find slightly irritating. The chair offers good lumbar support, but could use a bit more stuffing for the rear. My bony butt required a seat cushion. For the price I'm not mad at it.

Nice chair

Nicely made chair. Would be nice if it had a higher back. The bak is nicely padded. Arms could be a bit longer. The seat definitely needs more padding. The seat sits lower than most chairs. Finishers look nice, but are really cheap accessories. Relatively easy to assemble.

Great Chair!

It's beautful! My husband is so happy with his new office chair. It's sturdy, comfortable and roomy! He loves the high back design and that he can tilt and adjust in many positions. Also the lumbar support! I like the color too!

Extremely difficult to assemble

I still have not gotten the seat attached to the back because the screw holes do not line up. I used all my strength to try to push the seat down to line up with holes, but they still do not line up. This is not a one person job with the way it is made. I called Office Depot and was supposed to hear from someone yesterday, but so far have heard nothing. Does anyone have any trick to get the seat attached? The chair this is replacing is put to gether the same way with the metal piece, but it has a sharper angle and was not difficult to assemble. It appears to be the same chair, just an older model. I would have given it a higher rating if it was made well.

Nice chair and real leather.

This chair is a replacement for my 10 year old big box office supply store chair that was starting to kill my back. No chair lasts forever but this one has better lumber support and the real leather cover should hold up better than the synthetic leather used by many other manufacturers. Yes, it is made in China. Happy so far. Good looking chair.

Not The Best, Not The Worst

This chair was pretty easy to put together until I got to attaching the arm rest's. The holes didn't line up and it was extremely difficult to get them attached to the chair, I almost felt like I was going to break the arms trying to get the holes to line up. The quality is so-so, it's "bonded leather" so keep that in mind when purchasing, it is not 100% true leather. I would definitely compare shop as I think you can get something of better quality elsewhere for the price. The enclosed instructions were nothing more than pictures but it was still easy enough to assemble without any detailed instructions. You can adjust the height level and also choose whether the chair rocks or remains still, there are no other adjustments available on this chair. There is no lumbar support so if you have back problems, I would suggest you spend the extra money and get something a little more comfortable. Overall, I'm 75% satisfied with this chair, I just hope I get my money's worth out of it before it falls apart.

Average at best

The first disappointment was the product arrived with a paint chip out of the front of one of the arms. Not a major deal, but shows a black mark on top of the nice shiny silver. Putting the arms on the chair is next to impossible the way the holes line up. It took all my strength to get the second holes on each arm to line up to get the bolt in. Speaking of the arms, the height of the arms is too high in my opinion. To rest your arms on the top of the chair arms you have to scrunch your shoulders up a bit. Not ideal. Also, the adjustable lever takes some work to actually get it to move up/down and tilt. On the plus side the seat itself is very comfortable as is the lumbar support in the back. Overall I would not buy this one again but not worth the hassle of sending it back.

Leather Exec Office Chair

Before buying this chair I labored over all of the reviews, and I noticed several (under 20) reviews which all held one issue in common. Normally that would be enough to dissuade me from the purchase, but with over 200 outstanding reviews, and my own past with both the manufacturing and Wal-Mart, I decided to give it a chance.

Worst Customer Service and Chair for gaming

Mediocre

I paid a little more for a computer chair this time, and what I got is worse than what I got last time. The chair is wobbly like my old chair got after 2 years of use. It doesn't lower as far to the floor. It isn't as wide despite similar measurements. The seat isn't level, its slanted about an inch lower on the right. I do like the arm-rests, they are well padded and high enough. Also, and this hasn't had any negative effects yet, but one of the two washers they included had the wrong size hole, being too small and making it unusable. So I connected the arm without it.

Not quite what you pay for

Not a true high back chair, the materials is questionable if it is leather or not., the padding in the chair on the seat is lacking. Instructions are weak, the last step is just a pic of the chair completed and not explaining how you get to there. If I would have paid 150 for this chair Id probably take it back. You can figure out the assembly rather easy and its an ok chair. Id probably set the price point at 90 tops rather than 150. Shipping was very quick though. And I am a large man and I fit into this chair, just wish the back was higher and the padding was better for the price they sell it for. You will have trouble lining up the arm rest holes but a little elbow grease and you can get it together.

Not very comfortable.

Not that easy to set up, about an hour, some parts hard to fit together ie: arms where hard to get lined up and getting the screws to start took 15 mins. alone. I'm about 250 lbs. and it holds my mass but the seat is not forgiving, very hard. I felt after about an hour I had to get off and my backside was numb, happens every time so I had to use a pillow to customization it as not to get a sore backside. Over all it looks great, but that's were it ends. My head fits well so it's ok on the height. Not very good for the cost, also wobbled abit from side to side, had to re tighten the screws and it still wobbles. I'd say look abit longer if you can, I called for a re fund and am looking all over again.

Excelent chair for the price

I bought this chair a little over a year ago and I love it. To start with some of the other reviews stating that this chair is overpriced, I don't agree I have looked and have been unable to find the same quality for the same price or less. I do tech support from home for a living so I sit in my chair 8 hours a day 5 days a week and I find it does well for that time frame, maybe a little hot to sit in due to the leather though. If nothing else the warranty on this chair is worth the price alone, Flash furniture has a 2 year warranty and will send any replacement parts you need. I had to replace the mechanism on mine a few weeks ago and they sent me the correct part in just 4 days. I have had no issues other than the weld where the hydrolic cylinder attaches broke, I received a replacement mechanism promptly and have had no other issues. The only reason the mechanism broke is because I weigh about 300 pounds and I tend to plop into my chair rather than sit. In conclusion this chair is a good buy for the price, it is durable and comfortable and easily repaired if broken.

Very nice and nice price

Bought one of these because I work form home sitting 7-8 hours a day and have not been disappointed. I had bought a similar chair from an office warehouse for more than $300 for my wife who also works from home but this chair looks better and is as comfortable. It appears well made, compirable or better to the more expensive chair.

Good chair for the price

This chair is quite comfortable and gets the job done. Easy to put together and the chair is working just fine. No problems with the lifts but I've only had it for a few weeks now. Ordered other products from Walmart online but it looks like their items are not always new. Like they've been used, returned, and repackaged. Most parts of this chair looked and smelled brand new but a few had scratches or small nicks on them although they were wrapped. Only the instructions and packaging slip from Walmart were enclosed in an unmarked box. You will not receive any paperwork from the manufacturer or anything else describing the chair or how to take care of it. Also, FedEx delivered this package as scheduled but sat it in front of my closed garage door! Just the thought of running it over while backing out was just besides me. I will follow up with FedEx but do include any delivery instructions to Walmart if possible.

Exceeded my expectations!!!

I just received this chair on March 5th and I love it! I have no complaints that will lower my rating. It was a little challenging attaching the back and the seat alone, however I managed to get it done! I purchased this for my home studio, where I spend MOST of my time as I am also a full-time student, and it works perfectly! It looks professional and fits the decor. I would not change a thing!

Pretty decent.

People say this exceeds the price, which it just doesn't. This is definitely pleather, not leather. I could see it selling for $100 and be a fair price. It is pretty comfortable as stated, but could be more padded. I can see long sits being a strain on the butt and neck. Hopefully the more I break it in the more comfortable it gets. People said this is made for a tall person, well I'm 6'0" and when sitting with correct posture the back only reaches my neck. You have to slouch a good deal in order to use the headrest, unless you're much shorter than myself. The tilt feature is nice, which at first I thought I got ripped off because it wouldn't recline. There's a pin that holds it in place so you can't recline, you just have to be sure to push it in. The chair does look very sharp though. If I could have sat in this chair before buying it online I probably would have chosen a different one. If you want just an average chair and don't care for uber comfort, then buy this chair.

The honeymoon is over

In late 2010, I was in need of a new chair for my home office. It took quite a bit of researching to finally decide to go with this chair. I'd ordered all kinds of stuff online before, but never a chair. That's something I really prefer to try out live and in person. Problem was that I just wasn't falling in love with any of the chairs I tried out. Well, none that cost less than $700. For better or worse, my chair budget was $200. When I came across this chair, I was immediately impressed with its overall look. It's got the plush, comfy looking leather, it's got the highback without being too over the top, and was very moderately priced. Kind of a budget luxury sports sedan vibe going on. So I bit the bullet and submitted my order.
