Well, they are right…. It does take some time getting used to using it. It’s a much different concept than I am used to. That being said, it was still a little difficult to use, but again, could be my fault. It does appear to work well, once you use it correctly, but not sure I ever really got the hang of it.

I wish it wasn’t so expensive, but I love the heft and ergonomics. It’s truly dishwasher safe, unlike other scoopers I’ve gotten claiming to be. I shopped several places before settling on this scoop, and I have no complaints.

Oh yes there good you can let hand ️ warm it up ⬆️ so you can use it or you can run ‍♀️ under cool water not warm or hot this second one and only put it in dishwasher that doesn’t have sanitizer  cycle it or that will kill it. Yes to hot of water .

At first, I was like I'm not paying 30 something dollars for an ice cream scooper till I caved in and bought it. It's so stylish and metalic. Totally worth it!

Heavy with large handle to grip

This item is heavy with largee handle. I suppose the item is heavy to give it more heft to push through hard frozen ice cream. The handle is very fat around making it harder for mr to get a good grip to push the scoop. The size of the handle might be a good grip for a man.

I was looking for a scoop to replace a cheap plastic one and was thrilled when this lovely guy arrived. It is the star of dessert time - heavy duty, attractive design and really works even on gelato directly out of freezer. Also, it comes in a nice presentation box that enhances the wow factor (would be a perfect ready-to-give gift).
