functional but loose tolerances

It gets the job done but the tolerances are way less tight than with my other Ergotron arms. My monitor rocks back and forth about 2 cm. The solution is clearly that the plastic collar that sits between the pole and the arm needs to be thicker. I called support but they were insistent that this was normal. I still really like ergotron but this particular model seems to be not as good as most.

Perfect solution for a standing desk

This was a perfect solution for creating a standing desk, using a large 34 inch Dell curved monitor. The desk arm was installed on a trading desk and functions wonderfully. Separately, I purchased an adjustable desk adapter from Amazon (placed on top of your desk) for my keyboard and mouse. Paired together, it’s perfect!

best monitor mount i've found... i have several now...from someone who's tried a lot, nothing worse than a chinsy mount, and this one is heavy duty, adjustable spring tensioners... just be prepared to update cable lengths as you'll require 36" onto whatever cable you use now

Ergonomic monitor wall mount

It is pricey, but worth it. Simple to install and has all the features needed. It’s the monitor wall mount that my son will have through college.

Very Sturdy

With my 38in curved LG monitor, I wanted a desk arm mount that was steady and sturdy that I didn't have to drill into my desk. Did a little research and found this one. Of course seeing is believing! It it both those things and a solid full metal build (except for the section that hides the cables). I don't worry about my monitor having accidents or that when I bump the desk, it will shake. Solid. The only thing I would change are the directions, but YouTube had my back.

Such a heavy duty great piece of equipment to have in the office. I have little to no more neck pain and my posture has gotten so much better having the screen at the exact correct height.

Re-position Your Monitor Easily

With a stud finder and an electric drill, this was easy to install. The reach and area of movement is incredible. So much flexibility, spring-loaded for easy handling. If you're gonna mount and leave your monitor about where it is on the wall, a cheaper option will do. If you will be adjusting from time to time where your monitor is positioned, this is the only way to go! Save your eyes from squinting and your posture.

fit for purpose.

...i have been buying mounts over the years; setting up, moving and replacing many studio/offices during the covid era. and for the moment, this ergotron LX HD Series is my new favorite in terms of quality, build, articulation, adjustibility and overall function.These are not small. and these are not cheap. but if you want solid quality, they certainly fit the bill.... a few suggestions / lessons learned .(1) always use best cables with lots and lots of ties ... and keep in mind you'll need no less than say a 3meter lengths. that's 2meter to lace up the arm to your desk, then additional length to reach the port replicator or computer. (i' use 3meters the most, and 5 meters are my favorite).(2) hardwood desktops or millwork is a must. the amount of force transmitted onto the deskclamp is basic phyics. And at the risk of stating the obvious, do not expect pressboard or light-weight consoles to hold.(3) never can have enough pole rings (PN#97-844). ergotron is great at supplying necessary hardware in their kits, with exception of the pole rings. ... for some reason they seem to skimp and only ever send one ring with the monitor LX-sit-stand kit. and if you want to mount the keyboard to the desktop kit, an additional ring is needed.All told, the ergotron LX HD series sit-stand products are top-shelf and premium...my recommendation, if you've the time, would be to contact BHPhoto tech team, who i am sure may offer better advice and options beyond my little write-up.keep well, everyone ! and stay healthy. Less
