Most stable monitor arm ever designed

This is perfect if you want to use a monitor with a racing simulator setup (as in a chair setup you wheel over to your desk), but also wish to use it at your desk like a normal display.

It is stable and holds the weight of the monitor well. Can be mounted both at the table edge with a clamp or straight through the table top by drilling. A minor problem was that the holders that hold cables in place on the arm don't fit very well when I needed to squeeze in a few more cables. The cables stretch a bit when the arm moves which is natural and the cables could not run in the holder. I just solved it by putting velcro around the arm so the cables can run freely instead.

The white model *does not* include the grommet mount, despite what B&H's listing details say here. Only the black and aluminum do, per Ergotron's website.

Perfect for home office with small desk.

Setting up the arm was simple. I was able to flatten my screen against my bookshelf. It gave me back my desk space under my monitor. I tighten all necessary points on the arm and my 28" monitor had not tilted unless I manually tilt it. Just be aware the VESA plate may not suit all monitor. My monitor has a circular groove. I knew that, and took the risk. The Vesa plate was bigger than the opening. So just make sure you have the correct and necessary thumb screws to mount your monitor.

Solid build! Very high quality! Personal preference of white color to match with monitor. Hold up my 27” monitor like a piece of cake! In terms of articulation, both arms rotate 360 each while the one holding monitor swivel 180 left to right. Finally the plate mounted to the monitor enables tilting and pivoting of the monitor (yes you can turn your monitor into portrait or landscape mode).

Maybe the best $130...

Maybe the best $130 I ever spent on computer equipment. Seriously. I'm using this monitor stand with a Huion GT-220 21.5" digital pen display. Much of the time, the Huion is just a second monitor, and I use this stand to swing it back next to my main monitor and keep the screen lifted 7" above my desktop, at eye height. When I get ready to draw, I swing the monitor forward and tilt it back 45 degrees, and >BOOM!< in 2 seconds it's a comfortably located drawing tablet. This stand behaves EXACTLY the way I imagined it would, I can't think of anything that would make it better. Some reviewers have mentioned that the instruction sheet included isn't much help in putting things together, but there's a video online that shows everything you need to know about assembly (I watched the video on Amazon, but Walmart was able to deliver the monitor more quickly when I got ready to order). I can't recommend this product highly enough.

Ergonomic and space saving

We have a roll top desk with limited space for a monitor, the built in space allowed for a 17" square monitor. It was time for a bigger widescreen, so I bought this arm for this purpose. Originally planned on using the clamp, but not enough edge on the very top of the desk, so used the other option of taking clamp off and installing bolt. I used the existing hole in desk used for cables and cords, so no drilling. We attached a 22" widescreen to the arm and is so much better. Easy adjust ability (up,down,closer) for any user,also free's up desk space and with the many drawers in the roll top, we can easily move the monitor to get to these drawers. It was this or buy a new desk, very satisfied.

Awesome. Solid. High maneuverability.

We bought this bracket to install our 22" flat screen LED tv in our camper. The rv dealer told us we couldn't use a wall-mount bracket because there isn't sufficient support in that area of the wall. However, there is a tv shelf. Those guys were going to drill into the plastic base of the tv and bolt to the tv shelf but thankfully we stopped them in time.
