The Liberty rocks!

In the late 80's, I abandoned vinyl and sold almost all of my records (except for a few rarities) and turntable, in favor of CD's. I really did not think about records until recently popping into two local record shops to see what they had to offer.

NO POWER

I bought this from Kohls a few months back. I opened it and put it together back then... only because I was having heart surgery in May and I was afraid I would not be able to lift it afterwards. When I got home from hospital, I could not wait to start playing old records that my uncle left me when he passed. Unfortunately, when I went to turn it on... nothing. I see from reviews that I am not the only one with this issue. I could never have imagined it would not work and threw away the box prior to surgery. I am hopeful that Victrola will still replace it as they have done for others.

Terrible item and terrible customer service

The item was damaged and I have tried to contact customer service 3 times now and left voicemails and nobody has responded to me. I also sent an email and am awaiting a response

Garbage!

This is a piece of garbage! Has a hissing noise when played. Only 30 day returns. I got it for my birthday and too late to return when I received it.

Cat friendly!

I love this record player! I have a cat who loves to sit on things he shouldn't be sitting on, so I was worried about him messing with the records while they were playing and them getting dirty or scratched. With this record player, I am able to completely shut the lid while the record is spinning and it does not compromise the sound quality at all! I would highly recommend especially for anyone looking for a first record player!

Received with bad power supply

I received the record player after 30 seconds of use the power supply went out I was able to utilize a spare I had laying around the house to get the unit back up and running.

Constant clicking sound

My unit is either defective or it is not designed or manufactured well. The tone arm lift arm arrived loose and does not perform its function. More importantly, when "Phono" is selected, a constant clicking noise plays through the speaker. This distracting noise makes it hard to enjoy using it as the intended primary purpose: A record player.

I've given this a three

I've given this a three star rating because, knowing how well the more elaborate component stereo systems play, I don't think any single box phonograph rates more than that. Those machines, however, cost way more than my new Victrola

It’s exactly what I imagined it would be. We’re enjoying going back to time and listening to vinyl LPs and just how music is beautifully heard using analog technology of the past. Simple but elegant at the same time. Great find and great product for an unbelievable price. Thank you Bear Buy for this record player/turntable. Vittrola record players are made well.
