Nice to have
The material is what you'd expect for the mdf wood. It was moderately difficult to mount and assemble and the hinges are very fragile but with some very light hardware store alterations it became very usable
Neat and Tidy
The desk is big enough to hold my desktop computer. For typing projects, I use another tabletop for my documents. Some of the wood texture chipped off. I'm not sure what it was from.
Compact desk
I love this cute and convenient desk. It's a perfect size. Little difficult to assemble but worth it in my opinion. Bracket it mounts on is a little scary, you may want to upgrade your anchors or be sure to hit a stud. Its easy to fold up and still looks nice and neat
5 Stars
This was delivered very quickly, took about 2 hours to assemble and then put on the wall. Of course you need to make sure its hanging well and measured from the floor correctly. The desk was delivered with a scratch and will probably easily scratch but I don't care since its a temporary measure for a small space.
This was exactly what I needed. My office duals as a second family room and wanted something that can hide away when not in use. Easy to set up and take down. I even was able to mount a monitor within it and the desk still closes without issue. Would recommend.

The EVERYTHING Desk!
The desk is exactly what I was searching for...not only for making my jewelry, but to do my sewing; store my crafting materials; keep my crafting and sewing tools; etc. More important, in my case, is the 'compact' ability of folding the desk up when not in use, WITHOUT using any floor-space. (My house has a VERY small sq.ft area, so space is everything.) Kids room desk; crafting desk; writing desk; EVERYTHING!
Nice product. Needs improvement
Inout this together by myself. Be careful tightening screws as screw holes can crack the fake wood. The directions are horrible. Great space saver for small areas. Customer is great and reimbursed me immediately for a portion of the damages. All in all i do recommend this product
cute but terrible quality-very cheaply made.
such bad quality ... it works for now but really disappointed. I feel like i wasted so much time, money and energy. took so long to assemble but my main issue with it is how the hinges keep breaking, between the "leg" piece and the desk. it has tiny screws holding it in place, which keep ripping out of the wood. also, the hinge holding the desk part up is very weak, so i'm worried to even put the desk away without it falling out of its place onto me. lol don't waste your time.
Perfect piece, just what we needed
Perfect piece for the small place we have. It was easy to put together. Took about 40 mins. Read and follow instructions carefully to avoid redoing some pieces. Item is pretty heavy so would need 2 people to install to the wall. The secure lock seems fragile so I'll be replacing it to make sure it's extra secure and lid doesn't fall down. Overall we are happy with our purchase.
Instructions are a Nightmare
Great Idea but instructions are drawings ONLY! No writing to indicate 'right side/wrong side, top/bottom of pieces as well as the piece itself. I'm a professional artist and experienced assembler so only had ti reverse one piece. UNFORTUNATELY the back piece was cut two eights too long. Will either have to cut it myself or live with a tilted top with a space at the top. I consider the bad instructions a worse problem.
Does not stay on the wall
This product does not stay in the wall even if you anchor it in. Its also very small and doesn't give much space to work. I think the size might work better for a child if it was safe enough. It fell on my three times. Also, the latch doesn't have an actual hole to go through, it just turns over the second piece. If I didn't already put it together, I would return it.
Low to the ground
I bought this to use occasionally for my craft room when I use my cricut. While I love it for what it??s meant to be, it isn??t all that functional for everyday use. It is very low to the ground. You absolutely have to be sitting if you??re going to work at it for any length of time. Also the clasp that holds it together is cheap and will more than likely need to be replaced at some point.
Great desk, compact - a lot of work tho!
I am extremely torn in my feeling for this piece of furniture. To start, it took about 2hrs to attempt to put it together before realizing that half the boards weren't fitting because they weren't cut to spec; he spent another hour and a half measuring and cutting down boards. It took another 3hrs to finish assembling it. We absolutely suggest getting your own screws though; we mounted it on a stud at the top, as well as at the bottom for security - we, also, used L brackets for additional security. With all of that being said... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my desk! It is perfectly compact, as I live in an apartment - it fits away snug, and is easily decorated as to blend in with the rest of the room's aesthetic, although I do recommend that you go to your local hardware store and purchase a sturdier lock, as the one it comes with is made of a cheap aluminum. The shelves are nice, however not much can be left in the slanted shelves when it it closed. I definitely love it for my small office area.
Get what you pay for
Overall I'm pleased with it. I got it to have a fold-away sewing station. Has plenty of storage for all my threads, scissors, scraps, etc. Also looks really pretty when folded up and away. The problem is the material is very cheap, and 2 of the hinges started to fail (pulling out of the wood) after less than 2 months of use. Had to fix it myself. If it's just for an occasional use, I'd say it's a good choice, but doesn't hold up to frequent opening/closing.
Good for small places
It's a good little desk for say a kids room or just for small apartment. It's made out of presswood like all furniture now days but seems to ok. Sturdiness depends on getting it hung correctly. The directions aren't great so take your time and pay attention or you will put it together wrong. Oh and all the measurements are metric and not correct for the height off the floor for mounting.
Teacher's home office
This desk is great...especially for the money spent. The directions were terrible but manageable. If you buy this, DO NOT expect perfection. Also expect to replace the closing latch. The one included is as thin as paper. It bent from holding the for closed. We went to home depot and replaced it on day 2. Cost an extra $3 but made a HUGE difference.
Dangerous and very poor quality.!
Il make this quick and to the point. Material is cheap. Hardware is a joke and straight out dangerous. The leg on mine wouldnt even extend straight because of the garbage hardware. Cabinet is heavy and poses a danger to anyone around it because of the clasp that holds it closed. Had much higher expectations so if you have a standard for high quality, this item is not for you. I will be forced to heavily modify it just to make it work.
Excellent space saving solution.
I have been looking for something like this for my home office for a long time. This fits the bill perfectly. Looks very good too. One thing to note is that the instructions are illustrations only. No words to walk you through. Look through all page before starting. Hangs on the wall with a support bar that you slip the cabinet over. Easy to open an close.
1 Star
Bottom table and leg hold ALL the weight. Must recreate wall studs IF home construction is newer. 16" wall studs will NOT work. Assembly is for the ENTIRE WALL CABINET! Got 5+ hrs?! The hinges are super tiny connecting this HEAVY TABLE/LEG base to the wall- to the Cabinet YOU must make. Warped back board. Must install extra "nails" as this is press board not wood.
