Lots of assembly required with less-than-clear instructions. We mostly used our own tools. We have used this bed now for 3 weeks and just purchased a new mattress for it. The design features of the bed are very attractive; it is a great addition to our guest bedroom, which is designed in Arts & Crafts style, with Wm Morris print wallpaper. Love the low footboard.

I am very disappointed. This bed is listed as a platform bed and shows it with only the mattress as it should be with any platform but when you get it home it does not come with the stats, only 3, so the mattress falls through and your forced to buy slats at an extra cost! When I went back later the description that you have to find and click on and is the only place it mentions a box spring. A platform beds whole purpose is to NOT need a box spring so I am really upset by this slight of hand. Guess it my fault for assuming this company knew what a platform was and not thinking to read the full description to know that it was not an accurate description of what they had posted in the photo.

Beautiful twin beds. Purchased 2 for our grandchildren when they come to visit. Nice quality. Sturdy furniture. Easy to assemble. Nicer than we expected, less expensive than local and big chain furniture stores.

We absolutely love this twin size bed. It made the perfect addition to our toddlers room. Real wood, we did however, need to buy a bunkie board to support the mattress.

Great looking bed. Lack of easy instructions one set missing but easy enough to figure out. I thought it was a platform bed and only 3 slats delivered. Mattress fell to bottom of floor. Had to purchase additional slats through IKEA for my 4 year old grandson to use as his first big boy bed. Quality and paint finish is nice.

This is good for any space it is a space saver. Looks good. A good value. Great colors available. Great modern style. I am hoping it last over time. I have no idea what what time will bring.

Very nice bed

Great bed. We are very happy with the quality and the look. It did not take very long to put together . I love that all of the pieces are solid wood and that there is a matching nightstand and dresser. We bought one for our vacation rental and then bought a second one for our daughter.

Arrived damaged, different product name

This bed appears to be the same one marketed under a different name (and possibly a different supplier) a few weeks ago. I bought one that arrived broken. The shipping boxes were good, so the damage happened before shipping. I called the support number in the box. Answering service said the company would contact me within ten days. Fortunately, Walmart.com interceded. I received only 6 slats for the "platform." You will probably need to add slats if you put a foam mattress on it. It is designed with one dowel at the top and bottom on each side of the headboard and one screw next to each dowel, to carry all the load going from the legs into the headboard. Is that enough if used by a heavy person. I was planning to buy three of these if the first one was good. Not buying any after seeing one damaged one. The boxes had "Atlantic Furniture" and "atlanticfurniture.com" printed on them. Buying furniture on the internet has not worked out well for me. Oh, check to make sure if you can return this to a Walmart store if you have a problem. I was told that I could not.

Item is poorly manufactured

The quality is very low. One of the slats was cracked in half, there was scratched paint, and there were anomalies in the wood that caused a faulty and ugly appearance. I will keep the furniture because it is in a spare bedroom and quite frankly I am need a bed, but I would never intentionally purchase this level of workmanship.

First the headboard was damaged. When we finally got the parts for that and started to put the bed together then the drawers were damaged. There are notes in the packaging stating do not contact overstock and contact the actual company (atlantic). I initially contacted both and never heard back from atlantic furniture. Overstock replaced the parts (drawers still pending). Terrible quality and customer service by atlantic furniture! No one orders a bed so they can wait weeks to get the right parts.

Has the features I want at a decent price

I've been shopping for a new mattress and I needed to start with a platform bed. This bed has a nice Mission style design, substantial slats, and can accept four large underbed storage drawers. It was easy to assemble, provides solid support, and the drawers slide smoothly in and out on wheels (they're not attached to the bed). The walnut finish is decent, although it's a bit darker than I would like, and I'm not sure how durable (minor quibbles). This bed (and probably any platform bed) also extended the useful life of my mattress by making it a tangibly firmer.
