Poorly made. Not worth the money. Mine arrived chipped/scratched all over the place and the offered a minimal % credit and a touch up kit.
Very upsetting. This came in 4 different packages, delivered on 2 separate days. One of the packages which contained the headboard and footboard were very poorly painted. It looked like a very light coat of spray paint was applied, with no paint even I the crevices. After a week and a half of going back and forth with the company and Wayfair, we received replacements and they look just as bad as the first. Definitely the last time buying from them.
This bed squeaks way too much. It was a replacement bed and I am so upset that this was my selection. I’ve never purchased a metal bed so I was aware of the complications. Never again. And no one is able to help, I keep getting the run around. Stay away from this.
I purchased this bed with a trundle. The slot which attaches the side rails to the headboard is too low and does not allow enough room to accommodate the trundle bed below. The headboard had to be turned backwards to use the highest available slot for the side rails- this was the only option to allow room for the trundle bed.
front wood panel of the trundle bed was shipped with 4 splits in the wood. the headboard had missing paint in one spot and had discolored paint in another spot, both on the front face of the headboard so they are always visible.
Great sturdy bed and looks great in my son’s room. We’ve had it for years and have held up great. The trundle is a great addition when we need an extra sleeping space. The only thing is the twin mattress we use is too thick and it’s hard to open the trundle. But if we get a thinner mattress it would be super easy to open. Good bed all around.
It's very nice looking and decent quality for the price. The trundle pulls out easily (we have tile floor) and an 8 inch mattress fit perfectly for the bed and trundle both. The only drawback is that it had a smell, I'm assuming from the paint or finish. I had the windows open and the fan on in my daughter's room for a week before it finally started to subside. Now that that's cleared up I have no complaints and would definitely recommend it.
I really love this bed. It was super easy to put the bed part together and it looks nice. I chose this one for my toddler because I didn’t want a high foot that she could hit her head on when playing around (I remember getting a black eye from a footboard as a kid). So this works well and I have both tucked the bedspread like the picture or let the bedspread lay over the footboard. I like both.
This bed is so nice and solid for the money. It looks fabulous even nicer than the one I purchased at city furniture for $1500. It is a lot to put together but if you take your time and follow the directions you will be ok. It accommodates a 8" trundle mattress. On top I put two 6" mattres8so I will have an extra to use when we have more company.
The bed and trundle are actually sold by the manufacturer as two separate items--the bed, and the trundle. There are two possible positions to attach the rails between the headboard and footboard. If you use the higher slots the trundle fits under the bed, but doesn't attach to it in any way. The trundle is also exactly the height of the space beneath the bed, so the cutouts that are supposed to be used for pulling it out are inaccessible if you push it in so it's flush with the rest of the bed.I'm a little concerned about the sturdiness of the point where the rails hook into the slots on headboard and footboard--even with the slats in place and screwed down tight, there's some wobble. The slots are wide enough that the headboard and footboard can get out of line putting the rails at an angle, and I worry that too much pressure in one direction could split the wood around the slot. If anyone has a suggestion of a way to MacGyver that so it's tighter but could still be disassembled in the future, I'd love to hear it.
Love this bed! Exactly what I expected great quality! Perfect for my 3 year old! I love the trundle. There were parts missing (screws) however the company that made the bed had a insert in the box on how to contact them. They had great customer service and shipped out exactly what I needed plus extra! Very happy with my purchase
I ordered this trundle bed for the bedroom our granddaughters use when they spend the night. The bed was easy enough to put together, but I ended up having to have our handyman caulk between the wainscoting lines and refinish the areas that have wainscoting inserts (headboard and footboard). The bed almost looked like it was in primer coat, or very little paint was sprayed on it. We had other work being done at our house and I would normally have sent it back to Wayfair, but the boxed had already been torn in the opening of it, so we took care of it ourselves. But overall, the bed works perfectly for it's use. Easy to roll out trundle. I'd recommend sending it back if you have the same unfinished areas on the bed that we did.
