I bought the L shaped desk, the hutch, a book case and the file cabinet for my new home business. I will say that in the 30 years I have been married, my husband has put a lot of things together for me. He said this furniture had the best directions he has ever seen. Everything was bagged separately and very detailed step by step directions. I hope to be able to purchase another book case and another cabinet.

I love this desk and have the hutch and matching filing cabinets. The color is almost black but classy looking! My son wanted one after seeing mine.

Great Executive Desk

Over the last 2 years, we purchased 10 of these classy desks for our office facility. It takes some time to assemble but they look very nice.

Never received item. Stated it was available when I ordered then got an email two days later that it wouldn't be available for three months. Refund was processed quickly, but very disappointed that the website is not kept up to date.

Finish is a paper laminate

Top Finish is no good. Paper laminate is soft and scratches very easily, I have a wireless keyboard that I put on top of the desk, along with typically office items calculator, pencil holder, staplers etc... The desk is 4 months old and looks like it's been in a war. Epically where my watch rubs it, and my chair rubs the drawer. When I called about a touch up paint kit or a wax pen, I was transferred 3 times, and the last lady was quite RUDE. They don't make a repair kits cause this paper laminate was made overseas is what she told me. I could make a claim for warranty replacement, but she made it seem like I had to sign over my 1st born. And basically, said I my claim would get denied because its normal ware. Well, is if this is normal ware in 4months... DONT BUY THIS!!

Beautiful desk with great layout- chips INSTANTLY

I should have read the review that stated the finish is Essentially a picture of wood glued on top. I work from home and purchased this desk in 2020, it took my husband hours to assemble, but it was sturdy and extremely useful once set up. Unfortunately, the fake wood layer began to peel within weeks and has only progressively gotten worse over time. Not even those wood markers cover up this disaster. Sturdy desk, cheap finish

Average quality

This assembly is a massive project. It was over a 4 hour session. Desk looks good but drawer quality is poor. Be careful assembling, get extra wood glue and glue every screw and dowel. The drawers flimsy bottoms are not going to hold up. I glued the bottoms in place and I’m going to attach a homemade brace to prevent long term sagging. We paid 249 on sale, I would say it’s not worth anymore than that. It is not solid wood so if you ding it anywhere you tear into the painted coating revealing what’s underneath.

I purchased his desk to hold up my TV and my Xbox and within less than two years the desk decided to start the bow in the middle, and I contacted the supplier and they continued to deny me customer support as well as Office Depot and OfficeMax is completely apparent that they do not give a single crap about their customers. Send me details I broke the contract and yet I sent them the types and the amount of weight that was proportioned on each side, which was not anywhere in comparison to the amount of weight that the nook supported when put on top of the desk and yet they failed to respond to me after I had sent back my complaints and my reasoning. They would not offer any credit or anything like that so if you want to shop elsewhere for 249 or 500 regardless if it’s on sale, it is not worth the price. Because even if you put a computer on this, it will ship if you leave any watermarks on it, it will leave a huge mark and you will find that the top piece will start peeling it very easily falls apart so please I advise you do not get this desk. You also are not unable to move the desk at all once it is placed because once you start moving it, you will find it. It starts splitting apart. I found this after emptying out the desk and deciding to move it out of my room since I was getting rid of it and it easily split apart faster than five minutes so please please trust me even Expert installation will fall apart very easily stay away from this product and if OfficeMax wants to reach out to me, they can but they have previously failed multiple attempts to satisfy me so best of luck to people who buy this, but please stay away
