Progressive furniture bed

My bed arrived on time and intact. There was more than adequate communication between Hayneedle and the shipping company . The bed was easy to assemble . The stain was lighter than the image on the computer,but overall,I'm pleased with the bed.

Nice bed especially for the price

The bed is lovely and just what is pictured. Our only problem was a side board that was a little warped and required my husband and I putting all our strength into making it fit the head and foot board. The slats are out of less than quality wood, but it doesn't make much difference since there are four of them. We reinforced one that had a crack in it just in case. We are very pleased with the bed all in all.

Get ready to spend extra $ at your hardware store

I have 2 stars because the headboard is nice & I guess I should expect poor quality for the price we paid. Assembly takes longer than 5 minutes, as it states on the tiny scrap of directions that are included. The one rail was completely bent so we had to put the metal bracket in and then reattach to the rail. Only 4 slats were included (a king should have minimum 5) and were cheap- one broke. The center supports were too short and didn't reach the floor by a few inches. We had to go to Loews to get new slats I got 6 & have new supporters cut from a 2x4 - I put extra supports by the end where the rail was crooked.
