Nice bookshelf

Great bookcase. As described and easy to assemble with partner once parts identified (no labelling). Back panel was a little short but made adjustments to camouflage. Fits purpose and space as needed.

Love the color. Very rich looking. Instructions were easy to follow and complete. Item was packaged well everything arrived in great shape. Putting the cabinet together was super fast and easy as the instruction stated it would be. I recommend this product totally.

Solid bookshelf and looks hood

I put three of these side by side in my office. They’re solid and look really good. I’m actually thinking of adding one more.

Nice Bookshelf!

Exactly as pictured, easy to put together, looks good! Used for a child's room--books on the first two shelves, toys and misc. items behind cabinet doors.

The color of the wood is almost a 100% match to the cabinets in my bathroom where this will be used. It's far enough away that the minor differences are not noticeable. I'd give it 5 stars but for the lack of markings on the pieces. I had to match up the # of holes in each to the instructions which wasn't always easy. While there were some minor scratches on a couple of pieces, one shelf had some major loss of the laminate on a corner. Fortunately I can turn it over so that it's put it on the bottom back corner of shelf. It took me about 1.5 hours to put it together by myself. My husband helped turning it over and standing it up. I still need to add the shelves and the doors the instructions State this should be another 15 minutes.

It was a pretty heavy package but not too hard to put together. Two people would be ideal especially when nailing the backdrop on. My main issue is the flimsy pieces of plastic that hold up the shelves which are not light weight. I'm sure they will not last long. Also for some reason one of the screws came through the wood (pictured) I was using the screw provided and the pre-drilled hole and following instructions so IDK when and how it happened, I didn't notice it until I was done putting it together but it is on the very bottom, behind the cabinet door so it is out of sight. Im thinking low quality but I'm not unhappy. I saw another review saying the cabinet doors were not flush, well after I was having trouble getting the cabinet doors to stay on I took the initiative and started loosening and tightening some of the screws (pictured). I was able to get the drawers straight and flush and the cabinet to actually stay on. this was not on the instructions It seems like the step was missing. The last step was just to attach the doors to the unit It didn't mention tightening or loosening of any screws.

Prepac slant bookcase

Great product..easy to assemble..excellent quality for the price.

Still fine after 3 years

I bought this to use more to store my decorative objects rather than as a book shelf. I did put it together by myself and I am not at all comfortable doing these things. probably wouldnt try it now. However at the time I was able to do it failry well. And it's still standing well after 3 years. It looks nice too. The door was a bit tricky to fix but again it's still in place.

Good but not great

Decent piece for the price. The pieces weren't labeled so putting it together wasn't the easiest. One of the door hinges was slightly bent so the doors are misaligned a bit. Also note, the backing is a thin piece of board you nail in, not a solid piece. Sturdy shelves, but the peice itself is a little wobbly until you add stuff. Looks good once you put it together.

One caution: Be very careful to get the backing nails in the CENTER of the "wood" side pieces. If not, they tend to split off bits of the pressboard or bend and come through into the interior.

Looks nice for a particle-board type product

Decent quality

Overall pretty high quality for the sale price. Hinges are easy to install, sturdy, and open/close well, though one door seems a little warped. Mostly good quality hardware, though the shelf pegs seem a bit cheap and flimsy compared to other bookshelves, so not sure how well those will hold up. Easy to put together. Did have to get a replacement for the damaged back paneling, but customer support made getting a replacement piece quick and easy.

Overpriced, poor quality shelf!

I bought two of these and I was so excited to complete my living room. They were the perfect size and height. However, I’m highly disappointed. The wood is damaged and some pieces are even cracked. There are multiple scratches and chips on the pieces. The doors are not flush with each other. I tried to just deal with the scratches because I really liked the shelves, but after noticing all the other damages, I am now going to have to get these taken apart to return them.

Okay instructions, quality issues, nice looking

Directions are nice, but none of the parts were labelled so you're own your own! Also, the backing should have cutouts for electrical outlets. The backing is difficult to nail accurately, so be prepared to have a few nails make it through to the bookcase side. There were quite a few dings and scratches so be prepared to make extensive use of the supplied magic marker to cover these up.

Expresso colored display case with form

Ordered two of these book/display cases. Guests tell us they look great on either side of our TV. Very happy with our purchase.
