I really love this piece. The color is amazing and I love the way it looks but it is a little bit flimsy. The top drawer doesn't sit flat or tight against the stand no matter what I do. I have put together a lot of furniture and this one just seems a little off. Other than that it is amazing!

Excellent nightstand

Excellent nightstand. It's appropriately tall with sturdy drawers. The open area above the top drawer is great for books, snacks and other things you want nearby, but not on display.

This nightstand is great for area where you aren't going to have any high traffic. They mar easily. Easy to put together. They look great initially. Nice looking night stand; only not up to the task of use for very long before looking shabby.

Missing parts. Vague instructions.

Missing parts. Two drawers without bottoms are not helpful! This was a bit of a pain to put together. The instructions are incredibly vague. The drawer glides are color coded and red is for right, blue for left- would have been nice if that was mentioned. I got Espresso and it is a nice color.

Great, spacious night stand!

Love these nightstands! They're a perfect match for my Ethan Allen headboard. And they're also quite roomy -- Plenty of room on the top for lamps, books, phone (or clock, for anyone who still uses those), an open area for storage -- journals, pens, etc. -- and 2 spacious drawers. There are several.parts to get it assembled, but the instructions were clear and straightforward to follow. The quality for the price makes these well worth it! Highly recommend!

Have fun. Just like a big Lego

None of the parts were labeled. Take a logical guess then take it off and flip it around. 2 hours for the first one. 2 One will probably take 45 min. Rare draws are real wood except the front and bottom. Well worth $70 I have been looking for a pair for quite a while. Darker in color then the photo. More of a dark brown.

I love love love this bedside table. I love it so much I bought two of them. They are beautiful and not to mention Overstocks great prices and free shipping. It's just to good to be true. They are for my grandson well one of them. Taylor&0live Peyto makes them. They are tall with 2drawers Espresso nightstands. They are great look them up. I'm sure you'll love them too. Judy H****

Not bad for the price

This dresser is nice and solid despite being made of composite wood. The directions to assemble are clear and I give bonus points for the drawer hardware which is labled as to the left and right side. The drawers were level and open and close smmothly I take away points for the cheap cardboard backing that looks tacky from above. Took about 1 hour to put the whole thing together.

These are very lovely nightstands! They are taller than the typical nightstand. The lid of the stand is quite large; enough to fit all of the things you need for bed. There is plenty of storage in the drawers and in the gap as well. I purchased two for matching sides. Definitely worth the money and then some!

Buyer beware!!! Serious quality control issues

Ordered two of these. One assembled well and seems nice. The second was missing the drawer fronts. No big deal, but it took a couple weeks and they sent a whole new unit. Assembled it... drawer fronts there, but the holes drilled in them for the pegs to align with side drawers are in the wrong place by about ⅛ inch, messing up the whole drawer form and alignment. So they fail to close and are off-angle. I am not going to go through yet another one of these, and it was cheap enough that I will just live with it until I can find a better table elsewhere. Two out of three defective units suggests serious quality control at the vendor (and perhaps also at Overstock).

Not thrilled.

I had hoped this would be more convincing as something made of wood. It's an Ikea-grade thing made of particle board and veneer, looks okay from a distance, pretty cheap up close. Assembly would have been easier had the instructions included more than a handful of words in any written language. Instead it's just a booklet of crude diagrams that don't always accurately reflect what certain parts look like -- so it's all a bit confusing and takes extra time just to make sure you're not screwing it up. If I had to do it over I would have spent a little more and bought something made of real wood.

The end table is nice but the directions were not the best. The parts and different boards were not labeled if they were it would of made it easier and not guess onPutting it together If you have a power drill use...saved soooo much time. Have it half way up and the part I need was deliver broken so there was a number and they are shipping out part with no problem also the directions do say make sure you have everything before you start so that was my mistake on starting to put together Good Cust service on that. No hassle just the waiting so I can finish putting this together. If you have little ones or a lot of in or out and setting stuff on it I would be careful it seems to me like this can get scraped very easy and chipped it's not something that will last long time but I think it's more temporary furniture quality isn't like a furniture store

arrived damaged

I was disappointed. When I unboxed it the first thing I noticed was how very dirty the pieces were. Had to clean them before touching. Then saw that the top had a fairly deep scratch on it and one of the side pieces had like a chunk knocked out. I decided that I would keep it anyway as the missing chuck was on the inside so not noticeable and hopefully I will be able to use one of those stain pens to make the scratch less obvious. The assembly instructions are poor. For example, the directions for putting the draws together consists of "assemble drawers", not very helpful. Parts are not labeled and so of the pieces are so similiar that I was worried I would guess wrong. Mostly the instructions are pictures and some of the pictures didn't show differences. I ended up calling my daughter to come over and help because it was confusing. We did get it assembled after about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Things would have been MUCH easier and quicker if parts were labeled. I also feel that it isn't very sturdy. Certainly wouldn't use it for kids. I'm in my 80's and not too rough on furniture so I think it will last me a few years. The bottoms of the drawers though do concern me. They are almost like thick cardboard. Certainly can't use the drawers for anything of any weight. So, all in all, I was disappointed but maybe it will hold up better than I think it will.

Decent night stand for the price.

This is a decent stand. I ordered two of these and the first one went together pretty easy and looked fine. The directions could be a little more detailed, but it wasn't to hard.

Good Quality Nightstand for Taller Bed

We have a rather plushy pillow-top mattress on a dark brown 7" high frame, so our bed is about 27". Finding a nightstand that would not sit too low was more difficult than I would have thought! However, this stand works perfectly and looks nice as well. My husband and I both prefer a simple or more traditional look for our furniture and needed something to match our bed frame. The actual color is slightly darker than the frame, which Ashley furniture just calls "dark brown", but isn't noticeable enough to bother us. Building the stand is not overly difficult and once assembled it is sturdy. We have two of these and love them. I would definitely recommend this night stand especially for the price and the fact that you don't have to buy them as part of as set!

Mixed Review-3.5 Stars

For the price, these nightstands LOOK more expensive than they are and serve the purpose in my teenage sons' rooms. They come in many pieces and require some patience to assemble. One of ours ( we bought the set of 2) did not have holes pre-drilled in the piece which attaches to the top of nightstand. Do not attempt to remedy this on your own because it is nearly impossible to get the depth correct without cracking the piece you are drilling (too deep) or causing the screws to push through the top (see picture). The company provides an easy online or phone system for replacement parts at no cost. Our new pieces are due to arrive tomorrow. Be sure and save your instructions and box info in case you need replacement pieces. The drawers are a little flimsy so I've warned the guys about being too rough or loading the up the drawers with heavy items. All in all it's about what I would expect for the price.

Not bad - would recommend

For the price, these are great nightstands. They are sturdy and very easy to put together. They are fairly large - so if you are looking for smallish nightstands, make sure to check the description for dimensions; these may not be for you. These are also not for you if you will freak out if (when!) they arrive full of scratches. The manufacturer does include one of those marker-pens, for covering small nicks and scratches - and it does do a good job making them almost (almost!) invisible. But if that is something that will bother you, do not "take a chance" and think that you will get a set that is not damaged, right out of the box. I ordered two of these and had to do some pretty extensive "coloring" on both of them. , ,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Overall, for the price, they are decent-quality nightstands, that look great and assemble quickly. , ,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, All of this said, if you are also planning on purchasing the coordinating dresser...I would consider the 1-2 star reviews of that product VERY seriously, before doing so. These nightstands are FAR superior to the dresser.

Nice Night Stand... But delicate

I brought this night stand to coordinate with the popular Tribecca Queen bed and made a bedroom set out of it. First, the packaging is great and no broken pieces and showed up to my door quickly. It took about 2 hours to put together. This is because I did not have a power drill, hence, I think it can be done in half the time if you have a drill. The construction of this night stand is all chip wood, particleboard, wrapped with a thin piece of paper (that gives it the espresso look). What this means is that you have to be very careful in assembling and also during regular use. Minor scratches and blemishes can be "deluxed" using the provided marker, but anything beyond that, you will need to use something else. All in all this is a good product for those who have just married and plan to keep this furniture 2 - 3 years or keep in in a guest room that gets occasional use.. Anything beyond that might be questionable, and I would go with a real wood or veneer type construction. However, this is way better and cheaper than a comparable night stand from the other manufacturers. Good luck on the purchase.
