Worst money I've spent

Do not buy! Worst decision I've made. The center row of legs constantly break off. We had to get different hardware from Lowe's to attempt to salvage the bed frame. We've owned the bed for 3 months before problems began. Notified overstock and they wouldn't send replacement parts or refund because we didn't buy the warranty. All around bad move. Just for reference we are pretty average in size. I'm 5'7 130 lbs, he's 6ft 180 lbs. No kids, so no harsh wear and tear.

Quality platform for the big!

We have had this platform for over a year and a half and we still very happy with it. We are both "large" at 180 lbs and 220 lbs - platform is very stable an excellent support for our quality mattress. Drawers are a great feature and close flush with platform and stay shut - but has to be free of any sheet or blanket or it will come open.

Solid Platform

This is a solid platform for a mattress. I have a foam mattress and the wood slats are close enough together and firmly screwed into place. The rim around the top holds the mattress in place with a little room for bedding. Below are four drawers towards the front of the base for easy access accommodating a nightstand. The base of the platform does not offer enough room to clean underneath there are also support legs with extenders on the bottom under the drawer boxes. It is a fairly large piece which may not work in small rooms but it looks sharp and functions well.

The bedroom is quite small and no real room for a full sized dresser. This bed made it Nice to have the added storage space. I would recommend this bed.

Solid and easy to assmble

Its well built and assembles quickly. My only caution: if you are planinng to put i new floors, it is not stable to move as an assembled piece of furniture as each drawer has its own supports, so it will need to be disassembled just to move it to another room

love it!

We downsized from 2000sf apt to 1000sf. The bedroom is quite small and this bed with 4 large storage drawers is perfect! Real wood and very sturdy!

Easy to assemble

This is a sturdy frame with clearance underneath. the drawers are spacious and flush with the bed frame when closed. Worth the money!

Nice for the price

This is a nice platform bed. The drawers move nicely and are a good size (not huge, but sufficient for my needs). There was some damage in transit to the back of one of the drawer boxes, which Overstock rectified it with a credit (they offered a replacement part, but the entire bed would have to have been disassembled). It is lower to the ground then I expected as we do not have a super thick mattress.

This went together without any trouble. The bed looks like the picture, it is Espresso and on the darker side of cherry. The drawers are much like dresser drawers regarding size, but since there is room, they could be bigger, but they slide nicely.

not much for the money

I was disappointed on several levels with this product. My husband is a woodworker, so I've been spoiled by amazing high-quality furniture over the years. He simply doesn't have time to make everything and we needed a bed in a hurry. Initially, I was going to go super-cheap just to last until he could make the bed, but when I saw terms like 'dovetail drawers' and 'hardwood construction' in the item description, I thought it was worth spending the extra money on this bed and that it might last. ,

a little noisy.

Assembly was a breeze. I did most of it myself until my husband came home and we finished it together. I like the look of the bed, very sleek. Drawers have given us some storage, but they aren't large drawers at all. The only negative thing I have to say is, it is a little noisy sometimes.

Good looking bed

The quality of the bed frame very good. The only downside is, that wood planks to rest mattress on ALL MUST be screwed to the frame, no only few like designed. Otherwise they start making squeaking noise when you getting on or off the bed. Draws construction solid and have plenty of space to store sheet sets or extra blanket. And its high enough to clean under bed without any problems!
