Hard to Pull…

These slides can be difficult to pull the drawer out… I built a small wooden dresser and you have to hold the top of the dresser when pulling out the top drawer so it doesn’t tip over. I like the soft close feature but I would trade these in for ones that I don’t have to worry about pulling so hard to get the drawer open…

We bought these as they were soft close and in stock. Having experienced fully adjustable blum drawer slides, these did not compare. They were easy enough to install but more adjustment is needed a because if you don't get them perfect the drawer does not slide in and out easily.

These drawer slides are as easy to install as they are perfect for your drawer! The soft close feature will tempt you to change any slides you have that are not. These are a major improvement to your existing non soft closing slides as well as the perfect choice for your new installation. My local Home Depot has a variety of sizes and styles that will accommodate any of my needs, and it’s reassuring that if there is one I need and it’s out of stock, I can simply order one from them online and have it quickly delivered right to me! As far as this particular brand and style goes, I fully recommend it for your next installation.

Due to supply problems, I purchased 4, essentially wiping out supply of these self closing drawer slides. One of the pkg contained a defect. Had to remove and re-buy, but without the self close feature. Self close feature preferable, but non self close had fewer working parts that could cause less issues. Disappointed with the smoothness of this drawer slide.

This product performs as advertised, and I’ very happy I used the 14”, 18”, and 2.0” sizes when retiring and replacing the original slides that had worked for decades but we’re sticky and not self closing. .

Difficult to open

I was replacing existing slides on existing drawers in kitchen cabinets. I bought the contractor pack of 10 sets, which came with no instructions. Found instructions on the net. I have replaced 8 of the 10 sets of slides. They work reasonably well except for opening them. They are very stiff and difficult to open. My wife already complains about that. They do seem to close as they should after they are opened and closed manually 4 to 6 times. I hope the stiffness gets a little better soon. I would hate to have to replace them again.

Everbuilt 14” Soft Close Full Extension Slide

Bought 6 sets; half were the blue hardware as pictured, half were grey. The Grey hardware went in and function as described; and also seem like they were manufactured by a company that had some type of QC. The blue hardware gets the one star. The sets failed right out of the package. The SC mech is cheaply made and fails to catch. Once drawer was installed, the cheap plastic hook on the SC mech didnt catch and broke when the drawer was closed. I will be returning. No excuse for this kind of product being offered. If the grey hardware was the old and the blue hardware is its replacement I would look to a different vendor.

Disappointing - Touchy to install and very stiff soft-open

The installation seemed fairly straight-forward following the instructions. Unfortunately, once my nightstand was fully assembled it was very difficult to open and close the drawer. I thought that the slides were level and straight, but apparently not. Once installed, it was difficult to measure exactly and make adjustments. After some trial-and-error efforts, I finally tried adding some washers in one side and the drawer did glide fairly easily. However, the soft-open is extremely stiff, and the soft-close is also fairly difficult to engage. When I pull on the drawer, the entire nightstand slides across the floor. I took out the drawer and tried pulling on the mechanism and it took a lot to get it to move. I went back and got another slide from Home Depot. That was a little better, but still very difficult to open. I'm tired of trying to get this to work any better, but wouldn't recommend these for their soft-open/close feature.

Replace broken drawer slides

I have no idea how to fix the broken slides on my dresser drawers. I measured the Existing slides and they were 15 1/2 inches. I took a chance that these 14 inch would work. Worked like a charm and installation was easy. Seem relatively heavy duty and the soft close feature is nice. The key is to line up the newly installed slides with the top where the used to be and to bring them forward to match where the old slides used to be.

Not as smooth or effortless as I hoped it to be?

After installation of the 22" rail I noticed a lot more human effort is initially required to pull the drawer out to my liking, but once past the initial stage the pull is smooth.

Half Failed

Purchased without doing proper research thinking these were high quality. After installation, at least one slide will not reset itself to actuate soft close when reopening the drawer. We manually reset the softclose mechanism so it would catch the drawer again, but they would still fail.

Used these to replace some really cheap not-full-extension drawer slides. Easy enough to install and they work basically fine. The point others have made about them being a little sticky to open and close is valid, but not terrible. I am hoping that will ease up some over time. Because my drawer is quite wide, sometimes one side doesn't close, so have to be careful to push the drawer in straight.
