The installation went well, however after two plus hours of experimentation I was only able to get one of the four set to soft close. The three sets would not soft close even with swapping parts from the one that did close. They do work as slides though.

In 2015 I installed 2 sets of these 20" slides. They worked well for 4 years. One of the 2 sets just failed. The failed set was used in a drawer weighing 40 lbs, filled with flatware. The failure involved the 2 damping cylinders at the far end of the unit. These cylinders developed cracks over time that prevented the cylinder(s) from holding pressure. The failure got worse as more of the cylinders failed. The symptom was that the drawer would close faster and faster, as cylinders failed, until after 3 of the 4 failed and the drawer would slam shut. Since 2015 I have installed 3 more sets. This one set is my only failure to date, and it was the heaviest drawer by almost a factor of 2. I'd recommend using these slides on 20 lb, or less, drawers.

This drawer slide worked well for my large pull-out drawer that holds our garbage container in the kitchen. I only wished that the instructions included directions on how to install a floor mount, which is what I needed. Having to figure it out on my own wasted too much time, and would have been much easier and faster with the proper instructions. Otherwise, I was very impressed with the construction and quality.
