The color is darker than expected. More like brown, which is better than being reddish. Tension is good, and there was no problem with install. Good product.

just what I was looking for as a renter. I have a picture window that measures 77 inches across and this rod extends to 84 in. the quality is excellent, the color is just as I expected for rubbed oil bronze, and the spring inside I could tell is a pretty heavy duty spring. after hanging the 63-in drapes, which are not heavy but not light, there was no sag in the middle of the tension rod. I would absolutely buy this again and I more than likely will buy a couple more, for the price you cant beat it and for the convenience and no holes in the window frame this is a choice for renters.

Really nice quality.

Easy to adjust the size by twisting the rods. Also easy to remove the end cap to get the curtain on. Fully extended, it sags a little where the little and big rods meets. I like that it has rubber bumpers on the ends to reduce the chance of wall damage.
