Nice chair no stability

Nice comfortable chair when purchased. When the bushing on one side of the operating mechanism broke and fell out, the chair tilts and leans and there is no more stability in the chair. It rocks and leans and has caused problem with back on hip.

Well Built and Solid

Over-sized all metal base with large, heavy duty casters. Up to 23" chair height for us tall people, 6' 4". Nicely padded arm rests, mounted on a metal tube frame, that wraps all the way around the chair back, for a solid feel. The real leather is top notch, supple and soft. The chair is built like a tank, robust and solid, with no wobble, squeaks or give. Not as comfortable as I would have liked, but certainly acceptable. If you're looking for that sunk in, deep cushiony feel of a recliner or easy chair, this is probably not the chair for you. If you want a really well built, solid, acceptably comfortable chair, that should last for many years, at a good price, this is it. EASY to assemble. It took me longer to unwrap the chair and it's components than to put it together. IMPORTANT: If you buy this chair, use the box it came in, as your workbench to assemble. By design, it is made to the perfect height and width to quickly assemble.
