Definitely not what the photo describes so disappointed

Cheap, unstable, holes in wrong places for screws

While I understood this was a cheap piece of furniture, I figured it would last more than 3 weeks without falling apart. I paid the extra $85 through Walmart for someone to come out and put it together after it was delivered. The guy that came was nice enough, but struggled with putting this together for several hours. I even had to look at the directions and tell him to turn some pieces around for them to fit properly. In his defense, the directions were terrible and there were some screw holes pre-drilled in the wrong places. The technician who came to build it actually left before he was completely finished. He didn’t even put the back on the console cabinet. I’m barely a month into using this and a piece of trim on the front just fell off! O looked at the screws and holes where it came apart and the holes are completely stripped. There is no way to even screw the screws back in where they came out. I will definitely be returning this. I did go to Walmart to ask how to start a return and they said, “Just bring it in with the box”. I explained that I couldn’t carry a piece of furniture in, nor did I have the box that all the pieces came in. (The guy that put it together actually threw it out- why would I save it anyway?) Then the person at Walmart said I could call 1-800-Walmart to start a return. We’ll see how this goes. Stay tuned. But my recommendation is to not buy this in the first place. It’s not even good enough for a college dorm room.

Easy to assemble and looks awesome, great quality for the money. I would recommend to my friends.

Solid and Excellent Assembly Instructions

I was a bit intimidated at first with the set up but the instructions were really precise and the assembly went very well (like all the holes lined up and all the parts were very well labelled). It would have been much quicker to assemble with two people (which they recommend) but I did it by myself so it just took a bit longer. Good solid frame and the finish looks really nice. Really good value.

Love this console

I am very happy with this piece! I have to say I had read someone’s review and read it was real wood. It’s partical wood with veneer on top. It’s very heavy to drag into the house, I felt bad for the fed ex driver. Lol! I put it together myself and took quite a bit of time. A couple things were labeled wrong, but easy enough to figure out. The directions have pictures only, so make sure you are putting each one in the right way. Probably best to have a helping hand to double check that things are going in the right way.

this could be your worst nightmare.

this TV stand was a nightmare to put together, the pieces were not marked, hardware not marked, extra pieces of hardware confusing had to disassemble three times because pieces were backwards. look for something different. it took nearly 8 hours to assemble it correctly.

Just received this via FedEx, took a couple of hours to assemble and I'm SO IMPRESSED! Great Canadian-made product, it's trendy, stylish, and solid! Better than any foreign made assemble yourself at home furniture. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for living room or den!

J'ai acheté ce meuble dans un grand magasin. J'en suis très satisfaite je l'ai assemblé toute seule. Le seul petit point négatif est lorsque je suis assise loin je vois sa patte centrale (en retrait) qui n'est pas de la même couleur: léger détail. Ses 2 grands tiroirs sont pratiques. L'espace ajouré est magnifique pour les accessoires branchés.

It's beautiful and prefect for my space. Well made, nice weight and easy to put together, esp. the drawers. There are some unfinished edges but in areas that don't attract attention and small compared to the overall look of the unit. Enjoy!
