Avoid!! Dangerous

Plastic clasps on the top of the gate are useless. Within a month, our puppy has snapped both just by trying to jump on the gate. Not only does this make the gate almost useless due to the lack of support, but it also caused a near disaster when the plastic pieces could have been swallowed by our dog. Terrible design.

Installation is easy

This gate is easy to use. Great to keep pets where you want them.

One gate was broken when it arrived. They were both so poorly made I could see they would not hold up with use. Found same design gates at Petco. For lower price. In addition the return process to Walmart was not simple. But your employees in the Redding store were very helpful. Especially Kimberly.

Nice gate and has a lot of adjustment to it.

It fit the space I needed it to and keeps my dog away from rushing out the front door.

mine do not adjust, i just received 3 today. 2 guys couldnt do it eithier. the metal lock wont lift up. not sure if im doing it wrong or just not strong enough but it shouldnt be so hard.

[Rewarded Review] Good height but difficult to adjust

I purchased this gate for a child care situation to keep 2 and 3 year olds from exiting an outside door. I like the fact that it's taller than many "baby gates" and is difficult for kids to open. However, after you take it out of the doorway, it can be awkward and time-consuming to adjust it back to the correct width to put back in.

Well made, arrived quickly. One of the few tall enough to keep my big dogs from trying to go over the top.

Works exactly as described. Good quality materials.

Very good pet gate for my cat

I bought two of these MyPet extra wide wire mesh pet gates around five months ago for one year old cat I had adopted. I wanted kitty to be able to have some space to move around while keeping her from getting into living room and other areas of house. These gates are flexible, sturdy, light weight and easy to manage (put up and take down). They fit across various size doorways and hallways. My kitty will sit sometimes and look through the mesh to she can see what's going on. Not once has kitty tried to jump over the gate.

Good gate for the price but you have an educated maniac dog. You might need a better gate.

Now I don't have to close the door on my puppy.

It works for many size doorways and rooms. So much better than closing a door on your family pet.

Garbage Product for Price

Flimsy. Sufficient tension to mount between walls pushes cross braced into wall (scrapes/gouges wall). Slide action is not smooth. Gate is too tall to be easily straddled over. Ridiculously over priced (even @$20) junk.

Broke right away

The cross bar is made of cheap wood and broke the first time we tried to use the gate.

Pet Gate

Great gate, works very well. The price is great. Sure we will use for years to come.

Good Gate

Gate does it's job and is easy to use and couldn't beat the price- it was half off! We had been looking for a wooden gate with plastic in the middle as that was what we had but it broke- although it lasted a LONG 6 years!! We couldn't find any in stores. Although this one seems a little less sturdy than our older one it was what we were looking for and gets the job done!

Product works...... but -

Product works as advertised, but, not well made. Stretching bar is poorly mounted on one side (it extends past the vertical end and puts marks on the wall and it does not hold an adjustment when opened and closed and must be reset.
