Fell apart in washer - Don't waste your money.

Bought on-line. Not available in store so you can't see how poorly its made. Instructions say to wash before using. We did and it fell apart in the washer on normal setting. Returned it and the unopened matching set (from same manufacturer) to the store. HD needs to drop this brand - it's a rip-off.

No. Just no.

I don’t usually write reviews, but these are disastrous products. Should be pulled from shelves. Disintegrated in laundry, even though I followed directions to a T. Actually clogged my washer & dryer filters! To add insult to injury, I had to pay to have these returned to Macy’s. I have photos but your webpage is not enabling me to upload them.

Disastrous product

I never write reviews, and certainly never negative reviews, but this product was a disaster. I followed the washing and drying directions to the letter, and the rugs (1) began to disintegrate, and (2) clogged the filters in both my washer and my dryer. Disastrous. I'm returning the rugs, though I resent the time & effort involved in doing so. These products should be discarded, not returned.

Poor Quality

I was very disappointed with the quality of this rug. Allot of the rug fell apart after washing and drying it once. I do not recommend this product.

Cheap!! Save Your Money

I had to return this rug set. They are so cheap looking: no non-slip backing; there were “bald spots” in the rug; and they were so thin you could see thru them!! I am a long time loyal customer this is not what I expect from Macy’s.

It was nothing like the picture . Not what I thought I was getting. Color was correct, but that's it. Very disappointed. And the charge to return , isn't worth it.

Perfect size, great color, comfy. I was looking for this for a while now and it match perfectly with my previous rugs even they are not the same brand. Totally recommended

Fantasia bath rug

This rug is not as plush as photographed and it’s more of a warm red and not a blue red and when I vacuumed it before putting it down there was a lot of lint in the canister. With that being said it still looked nice, but I don’t think its last long. Only time will tell.

Don't - You can't wash it

When it arrived in the plastic bag, I was a bit put off by the texture, and there was a definite line down the middle where it had been folded, so I decided to wash it and see if that made a difference. Washed and dried as it directed and it came out looking like I'd had it for 5 years - frayed on all 4 ends. And the texture was still rough.

Save yourself some $ and frustration

These rugs are awesome to look at and I loved them BEFORE I washed them. On gentle wash these rugs literally fell apart. I am/was about disappointed because I loved the look of them and how they felt on feet. My washer machine was literally full of pieces of the rugs.

Worst Ever!

Do not purchase this rug. It is a waste of your money. Completely fell apart, frayed and left lint everywhere in the tub of my washer during first washing. Yes, I followed directions for washing. The price is too high for this kind of quality.

Not what I expected ... or ordered

I ordered two of the yellow versions of this bath rug. The color is a bit dull to my eye, but still within the "acceptable" range. Otherwise though, don't know what happened here. I am a careful shopper and read all the fine print before making a purchase. One thing I have to have is some kind of non-slip backing on any area rug, and while the description clearly indicates that this item has a latex backing, in the ones I received this is absolutely nonexistent. They have no backing of any kind.

completely unraveled with first wash

a complete waste of money. do not purchase. the shag rug came off during the FIRST wash on SEVERAL of the strands. the only left on those strands was the bare thread. i am so annoyed I soent money on such a crappy product.

Horrible quality

I have owned similar nubby bath rugs from JCP for years and they are awesome, so I naturally gravitated to these online. Not even close to the same quality. I ordered the grey color. Washed once before use, they came out frayed, and bled their color onto my bath towels. Glad I saved the tags, they are going back to my local store for a refund. Don't recommend at all.

It's Just Plain Ugly

This rug is awful. It sheds. It is thin. It does not have latex backing. It's just plain ugly! I won't even let my dog lay on it. It's a good gift for someone that you don't like. I guess that you could use it for toilet paper.

Horrible material that mats into clumps

These rugs are horrible. I got two contours and 2 large mats. Here's the problem - they mat. After less than a year, they're look awful - matted like dog hair that you have to cut out. I've tried raking, roller brushes and lastly, even scissors and they're now trash.

Falls apart when washed

Buyer beware. Washed this rug 1 time in cold water and Tide. It is now falling apart. Did not even dry in dryer. It ruined my sheet set with all of the cotton balls from the rug. Also it says you have to return to vendor. Not sure when I will get word on return and how to instructions. Very dissatisfied.

The Shedding Rug

The quality of the Gradiation 2 Piece Set Bath Rug 17"x24", 21"x34" did not match what I saw online. I would have liked to have been made more aware that the rug fuzzes and gets all over everything. Perhaps if I had seen more examples of other people's examples after using or washing it after use. It's like it was meant to be looked at, rather than actually used more than one time. The colors were nice. The size was as expected. The material used, terrible choice. It arrived packaged well. It came on time. That being said, I would not recommend it to any of my friends. No one likes a product that sheds and falls apart. A positive about the product was that it was initially a great way to bring the elements of colors from other pieces we had. It would be great in any type of decor. It was really soft to stand on. So if the manufacturers changed the material and actually had something that was durable, I might consider trying the rug again.
