Long Life

I've been using this brand of heated water bowls for years. I usually store them away during the summer so that the sun doesn't make the plastic brittle. I did replace one this year that was several years old but its twin continued to work through this past winter. I use them for my dogs, cat and chickens.

Works great for the dogs while outdoors!

Set on plywood so it's easy to clean (otherwise dish freezes into snow). Even birds drink! I have three already, only one stopped working (heater coil broke so use dish in summer). Good for chickens!

No more frozen water bowls

Works great , kept water from freezing in 10 degree weather . My feral cat, raccoons , opossums , birds ,and any other outdoor critters that needed a drink during the hard freeze . It made life easier for me . No more busting ice or toting frozen water bowls inside to thaw .

Bird water bowl for winter too!

These are GREAT for birds too! I pug mine in and string the extension cord over patio chairs to keep it off the snowy ground %26 set it on my patio table. The birds really depend on it. When there's no water all is frozen in the deepest of winter and in the summer when it's hot %26 birdbaths are shallow %26 dry up I still use it unplugged for birds to drink. They use the bird bath for baths %26 splash out the water, this ensures they have clean water to drink. Such a great invention! Definitely getting money's worth!

Poor packaging

I really needed these for my feral cats. When the box arrived, it was 3X too big and only had a skimpy piece of brown paper for cushioning. The bowls were stacked and the top one was cracked and broken beyond use. They had to be returned and I'm really afraid to try to buy them again,
