Wrong sink color

I ordered this sink in biscuit color.

Kohler screws up

You sent a white sink instead of the bisquit I ordered. When I saw it I almost cried. It looks terrible next to the bisquit sink already there. I should have replaced it with another brand - my mistake.

There are better alternatives to cast iron bathroom sinks. The cast iron ends up rusting. An alternative is vitreous china: Store SKU #1000962526

Installed one month ago. A direct replacement for an older identical Kohler sink. It fit perfectly in the existing cutout in my solid surface vanity top. I installed the faucet and drain into the sink before dropping it in on a bead of silicone around the perimeter. Installation was a breeze. Finish and quality is what you would expect from Kohler products. It was a little pricey compared to other brands but not having to change the cutout hole, saving time and labor, was worth it to me.

Just what I was looking for. I wanted to replace my old sink that had seen better days. This one fit perfectly into the existing cutout and is a beautiful bright white. It brightened up the whole bathroom. No install problems and no damage to the item due to the exceptional packaging.

The 2 sinks were identical replacements for the 19 year old originals. The new sinks are not as high on quality. One was sent back due to imperfections in the drain hole and overflow opening. The replacement for that sink is better, but not perfect. As the old saying goes, they don't make them like they used to.

Same defect as my original cast iron

This unit has the same issue as my old sink, which is a Kohler cast iron. The old sink was rusting from the overflow lip. The plastic ring around the lip allowed water to pass. This sink also has the plastic ring not sitting properly around the overflow port. It doesn’t look good but had the plumber already on site so had to use it. Kohler is not what it used to be. All China

Bathroom Sink

We purchased the kohler sink based on our past experience with their products which have always been excellent. Unfortunately this sink did not meet their standards. There was a small flaw in the porcelain next to the right faucet hole and the overflow now has a plastic insert which does not fit correctly and protrudes on one corner. The Kohler decal on the sink was not even installed level - just a lack of attention to detail overall.

I installed this sink in about 2006 and it was beautiful...for barely 2 years. It quickly started to rust around the overflow hole and just deteriorated from there. I was annoyed at the time (I thought Kohler was a good brand!) but just let it go. 10 years later the enamel is flaking off so badly I got a splinter of enamel in my hand just trying to clean it. Good thing I have a recent tetanus shot!

My three-star review of this product gives Kohler the benefit of the doubt because I've bought and installed many Kohler enabled sinks, and they've worked out fine. However, I agree with another reviewer that downrated the product because of enamel problems. My sink is at least 15 years old; the other reviewer's a one star review, was written in 2013. Hopefully, Kohler has solved problem by now. They have changed the model number.
