I had purchased sconces from Etsy and the shipper was from Poland. When i received the sconce the bulb was DAYLIGHT, my eyes hurt! I went to Ace and hoped I could find a bulb that would replace the one that came with the handmade sconce, and it was there ... now the sconce is what I see, and the light illuminates the stairs, as it should be. All is well; I highly recommend my local store. Customer service is outstanding.

It works

My Convection/Microwave oven has a 3 way switch so the light stays on the mediums setting 24/7. My guess it not designed for a 3 way. I like LEDS so I'll stay with it.

Longer than Halogens

Bulbs are longer than Halogens and won't fit into fixture in stove vent hood.

Great with Caveats

These bulbs replace original halogen bulbs in sconces. They are a great value as they last 5x longer, don't produce heat, use less electricity and look fine. The light they produce is a little brighter and whiter than the originals. Dimming is a little less smooth, but not terrible. Also, they end up being just slightly longer physically than the originals...only by a few millimetres. The functionality, endurance, and cost savings are well worth the little niggles.

Energy efficient alternative to Xenon

LED lights are always more expensive than standard bulbs. That said this was an energy efficient alternative to the xenon bulb that I was replacing in my hallway. It's a light that gets used daily especially in the winter as it also lights my stairs. That wattage is less than 10% of the xenon bulb and has 5 times the life expectancy.

Some bulbs were brighter than others. My vanity lights are a bit off balance in lighting as 2 of the 5 aren’t as bright.

Much pricier than non-dimmable product

I returned these and went for the NOMA LED T4 35W G9 Base 120V Non-Dimmable. The FEIT bulb was only 25w (vs 35w); had half the life expectancy; &, more than double the price of the Noma. Plus I didn't require dimmable type for Main Bath lites.

Replacement for halogen

I used this to replace a halogen bulb for my the over the stove light on my microwave/range hood combo. Replacement was straight forward and it works well. The light has a regular and a dim setting and both are good. It even seems a bit brighter.
