Replaced backyard light with this light. Very easy to change out. Much more light now.

Failed within 3 months of installation

I should have stuck to my resolve to never buy this brand of LED lighting again, but I liked the design and took a chance. I bought 12 indoor LED bulbs from them about 3 years ago and they all failed within 6 months. So much for Feit LED being longer lasting. However, the GE bulbs that I replaced them with have not had a single failure. I have gone with GE throughout the house with no failures.

Very Nice Light.

Nice light that provides plenty of bright light. There are two bulbs and they can be pointed in different directions to provide a large lighted area. Easy to install.

Needs a better mounting system

I bought this product based upon a good experience with Feit's camera floodlight, which comes with a weather-resistant gasket and a very good installation design. These security floodlights however come with no gasket (putting more dependence upon caulking for a weather-resistant seal), and the installation looks screwy (no pun intended). Aside from the junction box screws, there are mounting screws that are to be "adjusted" so they sit at the correct depth in the mounting bracket. But no instructions on how to do that. By inspection I think I know what is meant, and getting the adjustment correct may be challenging. I am confident that once installed the product will work well, but I anticipate installing it may be frustrating.

Two of these double light LED units spread an even diffused white light across our backyard patio and pool area. Our neighbor has commented that the light is contained to our back area far better than any other in our very light sensitive HOA. Everyone likes and they provide a higher quality even light far better than the 8 flood lights they replaced. This light was recommended by our electrician and we could not be more satisfied.

This Feit Electric integrated LED white outdoor security light was a great value. I am not very technical, so I may have had a harder time installing it than most people. I like that the dual heads are adjustable and their lenses are shatter resistant. I have had other outdoor lights rust in the past so I am grateful that this is made out of rustproof polycarbonate. And the dual heads are adjustable so that you can point them where you want the light to go.

Feit 9 inch LED area light is a good basic outdoor light. Comes with the necessary parts to install the light. And installation is easy to any new or existing box. The produces a nice light and is not over bright. Mounting next to or over a door is optimal. This light would not be good for a high mounting. The two lights have a wide adjustment range and can be adjusted in two different directions

Very impressed with this Feit Electric LED Flood Light. Sleek and modern look, much better than the old school design for incandescent flood bulbs. Wont rust as entire body of light is Polycarbonate. Energy efficient - 28 watts, produces 2,000 lumens of 5,000 Kelvin "daylight".

This is my review of the Feit Electric 9 in. 28-Watt Integrated LED White Outdoor Security Adjustable Dual Head Flood Light. This is a light only. No motion or dusk sensors. Which is what I needed to light up a side yard. A light with sensors would not work with the smart network I have set up. The light is only 9' wide and fits where many other lights will not. It comes with a trim ring for mounting to external J boxes as well as standard wall or eave mounting options. The housing is white polycarbonate plastic and the lens is frosted polycarbonate, which will hold up well to our blistering summers and cold winters! The LED driver is tucked well up inside of the housing and should keep water egress to a minimum. The FEIT LED light has a minimalist design that compliments the yard. Installation was straightforward and quick. The included manual has more than enough information for even a "newbie" DIYer to be able to install this light fixture. I couldn’t believe I was only five simple steps away from installing this floodlight to finally bring some light to my work area in the garage. The unit provides 2,000 lumens which is adequate to light a large area and because the lights are adjustable you can focus the light where you need it. If you have changed a light bulb and tied your kids shoes, this isn’t much more complicated. You are just doing both at the same time. Installation of the floodlight without motion sensor only requires connecting 3 wires. Turn off the switch before you start!

What a perfect light for your Outdoors. Life's like these make things so easy without having to worry about turning them on and off every night. The light sensor takes care of all of that for you. Goes on and off when it gets dark or gets light. Great quality super bright. Perfect time to replace all those old light you have with a nice modern one. Fixture is lightweight and easy to handle during installation. Comes with mounting bracket and escutcheon plate. Recommend putting silicone or a foam gasket behind (not included but nbd as most siding has diff profiles;hard to provide universal fitting). Easy to mount and adjust 2 light units. Has sensor mounte on top of unit which is diff than others I’ve installed. Be sure to orient correctly. Nice fixture.

It's really great that LED lights are becoming available in so many types of fixtures and that they have become so much less expensive than they used to be. Saving energy without sacrificing quality, bright light is always good. This fixture is "dusk to dawn" so that means that it has a light sensor that will turn the light on at dusk and turn it off when the sun rises in the morning. I connected mine to a switched power source so that I can turn it off when I don't want it to go on when it's dark, it's good to have that option.

A reasonable light for the money. This is an all plastic light, which can be good or bad depending on your preferences. The light is 2000 lumens, not the brightest, but probably suitable for many locations. The directional adjustments are smooth and easy - maybe too easy? I have a similar light that the birds keep knocking out of place. The plastic lenses provide nice even light.

Brightly lit areas deter intruders so I chose this Dusk to Dawn dual head flood light to replace my inefficient incandescent fixture. It uses only 28 watts of energy. The color brightness is 2,000 lumens and 5,000K daylight color so it is very bright. It is expected to last 50,000 hours so worry free use for years to come.The LEDs are adjustable to point where light is needed. I like that the back plate design allowed me to have a clean installation. The installation was very easy with all hardware included. To prevent water leaks a coat of silicone caulk is recommended. I wish that a small caulk tube was included.
