We purchased this shoe cabinet to place at the end of our very long hallway, near our garage door in our new home. We keep our most worn shoes there and slip in and out of slippers when we leave and return to the house. The color and style go well with our contemporary home. We really like the box on top. We use it to put our vehicle keys; they never get lost. It was a challenge to put it together. Our advice is take your time and have patience. It does come together.

Not Worth The Money

I bought this shoe cabinet in February, but did not open or put it together until last week. When putting it together, each piece would chip and break--it's made with very cheap material. Once assembled, I LOVED how it looked but the next morning the entire bottom half (legs, support board holding the cabinet up) collapsed and broke into multiple pieces. There was no way of rigging it back together, the holes where it screwed together were completely open and visible with no support to hold them in. I should've put it together months ago when I got it in order to get my money back or return it, so don't make the same mistake as me. I wouldn't recommend getting this product at all regardless though, it looks beautiful but it does not hold up. Invest in higher quality material.

Missing piece

Lower quality than expected. Very difficult to put together, and was missing a piece we had to wait on to be delivered. Though they did get us that piece eventually.

Not worth the price and not as light as pictured

The back is just cardboard and it is more gray than depicted. It's over priiced for the quality and design

Way too many pieces and covered in Styrofoam, made a huge mess and took forever to put all these random little pieces together with some pretty basic CAD picture instructions.

It gets the job done, it is sturdy enough once assembled. However assembling it was confusing at some point, and some parts arrived with damages. The thing that annoys me the most, and the reason why I am rating just 3 stars is because it was advertised to fit size 11 shoes and it does NOT. So I literally have to put some of my shoes sideways in order for them to fit in it, which uses extra space and thus reducing the number of shoes it can store.

Sturdy and well made. Putting it together is as simple as any other IKEA furniture. The most difficult part was putting the doors on. You need to look closely for the small hole indents to figure out where to align the screws, but other than that, it was pretty simple to put together. The shoe cabinet looks great at our entryway, and works with the look and feel of the rest of our house. Glad I purchased it - and at a great price too.

Nice looking Shoe Cabinet - overall could hold about 12 large shoes. The unit was much bigger than I expected, but that was a plus. It looks exactly like the picture. I really like the little box on the top. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it was difficult to assemble. The cabinets are difficult to line-up and install. Additionally, somehow the styrofoam in the box got shredded and when I opened the box, there were hundreds of tiny pieces of styrofoam that got everywhere. It took me longer to clean-up that mess than assemble the unit. Overall - i would buy again and recommend the unit.
