Best ever portable grill

Great well made product of top quality, strongly recommend it.

Right size for grilling for the two of us

Did not use it yet, but set it up a couple of times and it is so easy to use. I only wish the charcoal grate was removable for better cleaning But stores nice in our RV.

Excellent Grill

I have used this grill over a dozen times in the short time I’ve had it. I’ve made ribeyes, chicken thighs, lamb chops and assorted kabobs and vegetables. I’ve cooked for two mostly but did do some tapas for six on it. It is extremely portable and well built. I even brought it to the beach recently.

Awesome little grill, perfect for camping or picnics!

I was able to use the Fire Sense foldaway portable grill on a recent camping trip, and it worked great. It's very easy to set up this grill; just push out the bottom, fold out the legs, put charcoal briquettes inside in a pyramid shape (according to the instructions in accompanying booklet), light the briquettes, and when they're hot enough and the flames have died down, put on the grilling rack ( I covered mine with aluminum foil) and start grilling your food. The grill comes with two handles which you can insert on either side of the grill to to lift it up, or you can put the handles on either side of the grilling track to lift the rack up and out. I cooked some burgers, and it can grill 4-6 medium-sized burgers at a time, and they were perfect. When you're all done using the grill, and after you've disposed of the charcoal briquettes, it's very easy to fold it back up.and store it in the included carry bag for your next camping trip or picnic. It doesn't weigh very heavy at all, so it's a perfect little grill to take along on different occasions. Enjoy!

Good little portable charcoal grill

We have a large propane gas grill, but sometimes you just want that charcoal grilled flavor. The Fire Sense Foldaway Portable Grill suits our needs perfectly! It comes with a zipper bag with carrying straps so it's easily portable. Keep in mind it's small - cooking 4 4-oz patties is about all you're going to fit on it. The underside folds out, and edges are VERY sharp so caution is advised when setting it up. But it sets up in seconds and folds back down easily. We can't wait to try it out when our temps aren't in the single digits. We're thinking a buying a second one for son who often grills out but could use a smaller grill for the hot dogs his kids would rather eat than the streak or ribs cooked on his larger propane grill.

Great product!!

This foldaway charcoal will definitely be over used. It's small and compact, yet when unfolded and assembled, it gets the job done. It's basically ready to use right after opening the box. It comes with it's own bag to carry, which is great. Unfolding is really easy and I just let gravity take it's course. However, folding it back up took a few more minutes. This will definitely be used by itself or in conjunction with my regular grill for gatherings.

Great folding grill for small gatherings

I'd been looking for a portable folding grill that I could easily carry in my vehicle for after bike ride tailgating. The FireSense fits my requirements, it is made of stainless steel and an ingenious folding design that unfolds when you hold it upside down, then attach the side handles and the grill. When in its carrying bag is about 18" long by about 10" wide and about an 1" thick and weighing right around 7 pounds. The surface area of the grill is large enough for a small household or group of friends depending on what you are grilling. Trying it out for the first time I put about a third of a chimney starter's full of briquets which did not quite cover the entire cooking area so will increase the amount of briquets next time to get a more uniform cooking area. I sprayed the grate with a bit of cooking oil before placing the meat and veggies on and it was a breeze to clean off under some running water and paper towels to wipe down afterward. My only gripe would be the cooking grate opening is a bit too large and wish the grate bars were a bit closer together or perhaps use a mesh weave so smaller food items like sliced onions would not fall through. That issue is easily resolved with a grill mesh mat which I will try next time. Overall, I'm really impressed by how portable this folding grill is and look forward to grilling with friends at our next gathering.

Wonderful collaspable charcoal grill

Was excited to get this stainless steel collapsable grill since my friends and I like to tailgate after a hard bike ride on the trails and celebrate with a nice meal. This foldaway grill is ultra portable and comes with its own carry bag that is about 18"L x 10"W x 1"D and weighs about 7 pounds. It feels sturdy and stable with little to go wrong The grill itself has sturdy foldout legs, handles that easily inset into place and complete setup only takes a few seconds. I sprayed the grate with some cooking oil before placing the meat and veggies for easy clean up after cooking. My only gripe is the grate opening is a bit large so some food items can fall through, would have liked a mesh screen to prevent smaller items from falling into the charcoal. A mesh screen type grate would be make this grill perfect.

NO Assembly!

So I opened the box and tossed the instructions aside, how hard could it be? Well I had it in three pieces before I realized I was dis-assembling it! So... I put it back together, folded the legs out and lifted it up, and everything snapped into place. This is a fully portable little grill. The grill grate is big enough for a couple small to medium size steaks or maybe 3-4 burgers, dozen + chicken wings... It also comes with a carry bag. When collapsed and stored in the bag it's not as big as a laptop computer. Everything appears to be stainless steel. Some of the edges are sharp & have the potential to cause cuts so gloves would be a good idea when setting up or taking it down.
