Perfect, backup for lighting stove and holding all of my whatnots together. The rest of it is a binerand that works as well as any other biner . So might as well have one that pulls double duty. Always good to have another backup for starting fires .

Bought my firebiner as a Christmas present to my self and love it. I use the bottle opener all the time and the striker I use to lite my hand torch when lighting fires. Love this thing.

Great Simple product!

I've had this thing on my keychain for well over a year now and mostly use it with my MSR pocket rocket camp stove. It works every time.

Great spark makes fire starting easy

Gave the firebinder to one of our Scouts to get a fire started, sparks up really well, she had a little problem due to how windy was, but a second try with a cotton ball covered in petroleum jelly had a fire going after three strikes. Our Scouts gave the striker five stars. The cutting blade worked well on string and fishing line, how ever we could not get through 550 para cord, and with such a small opening you are really limited on what you can cut with it. Over all everyone likes the look of the firebiner, and it held up to a weekend of use, is small and light weight and has worked well for clipping items on to packs.

LOVE This Little Guy!

The Banner & Oak Firebiner is a neat little tool that has some really fun features! Most notable being the fire starter. The Firebiner uses a small spark wheel and replaceable ferro rod to create sparks. The sparks are pretty large for the little tool. I now use my Firebiner to start my MSR stove quickly and with zero plastic waste! I haven’t used it to try to start a straight up fire, but friends have successfully before. Most importantly, the spark wheel is just darn right fun to play with. The device has other little uses like a bottle opener, utility blade, and screwdriver. I absolutely love this device! Only complaint would be that I wish it came in different colors, but who really cares.

Great product

This is super handy to have around...interesting lives need interesting tools. It’s handy for all the little things and you really can start a fire with this! I was wondering if I’d ever snag anything on this but the design is great. The biner is perfect for keys or just having on your bag for those moments where you need an extra hand. The little cutter is convenient too.
