Perfect!!
I love these garage floor tiles!!! They took my car themed garage makeover to another level!! The price was the best I could find and the customer service was awesome!! They even gave me a one time discount code to help with the overall cost!! My wife even loves the way everything turned out! Everyone is very impressed with product and the new look!!
Fantastic product
Fantastic product. I did my other house with epoxy and was hoping to do the same here. However, the local vendors did not seem qualified, so I shopped around and found the Nitro Tiles. When reading the many reviews, a lot recommended I use the design tool, which I did. The DESIGN TOOL is amazing. I designed a custom look and the tool told me the exact number of tiles needed. The end result is beautiful, the garage is easy to clean, and the price was a fraction of what the epoxy would have cost. Further, I was able to get a custom design, something that would have been very difficult with the epoxy. THANKS !
Company does not stand behind product.
Installed blue and gray tile. Looked great but after 3 years, the gray tiles became brittle and cracked. Even the tiles that were unused and stored in my house got brittle and cracked. Blue tiles were fine.
Easy to install. Amazing to look at.
As many are these days, we're doing a lot more from home and in the garage. To that end, a garage renovation was in order and with it a floor decision. A current epoxy floor is in place. Chipped away in some spots and clear tire marks in others, we had to decide to redo the epoxy or cover it. After a good amount of research, we landed on Nitro Tiles. Perfection. We simply emptied the garage, cleaned it up floor very well and laid down tile. With color coordinated wall paint, a new work bench and peg board and new shelving it looks like a serious professional work area. Neighbors actually made comments on the look and I may have sold a few. Regardless, I love the product and am considering using it in the basement.
The look good, but a little fragile when cold
I bought these to use in the pits/paddock for motorcycle racing. I was looking for a more professional looking area as well as a smooth surface when working on the bike.
Garage floor review
Installed the nitro tiles over an epoxy coat floor that was yellowing from the UV light and peeling where the tires generally sat. Given the size of my garage, 21’ x 22’, I had decided to go with the 2’ x 2’ design instead of alternating the 1’ x 1’ tiles. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the boxes to find that the tiles came prepackaged in the 2’ x 2’ design. It was just a matter of laying out the tiles and snapping the sections in place. I trimmed out the border with solid black edging. The install took me approximately 4.0 hours to complete. Can’t be any more happier with the way the flooring turned out. It truly looks like a showroom floor and really sets off the color of my C7 Grand Sport. I have received multiple compliments from my neighbors. If you are contemplating a refresh of your garage floor, I highly recommend Garage Flooring Inc. They have multiple garage flooring products and colors. Their customer service is terrific and will figure out the number of tiles you will need once you provide the dimensions of your garage and design pattern. I only wish I had installed these 9 years ago instead of wasting money on an epoxy floor that started peeling and yellowing after a couple of years.
Tech Support is lacking
The product is top notch! I am glad we opted for the rubber roll material under the tiles. It was easy to install when you take into account these come in 4 pieces at a time.
Easy install; time will tell.
I was hoping to put down a classic linoleum tile floor in my garage but that product seems to be a thing of the past so I went with the Nitro tiles for a similar look. The tile went down quickly and easily; they are precisely uniform in size so no variations over my 600 sq ft. The material is a bit lighter than hoped considering they cost the same as ceramic but if you have cracked and uneven floors the flexible plastic is more forgiving. I recommend putting down some sound absorbing material first to quiet the rap tap tap these can produce on concrete. I used the heaviest weed blocker fabric I could find but that is still the cheapest product you could use.
Trouble in the sun.
I ordered tiles after receiving my samples in the colors black and cobalt blue.
Poorly packed
I like the product but I didn’t care for the way it was shipped. Instead of shipping them in a smaller boxes stacked, they were shipped in flimsy large boxes with 4 tiles attached. Before we could install them we had to break them apart so we could lay them out in our checkerboard pattern. This not only added extra time just tobprep to install them but these are not made to come apart very easily and several of the little tabs kept breaking off. This was extremely annoying. My neighbor ordered these last year and they came un- attached in taller boxes and were a breeze to install. We never had to pry them apart to start the project. If mine were shipped this way I would’ve been writing a whole different review but this cost me several unusable tiles and we came up short for our project. Luckily I had over ordered so I had to abandon making all of it checkerboard and use what tiles I had extra that didn’t break.
As advertised and great product...but...
Purchased these tiles for my hangar to go underneath my plane. Colors match, online design feature was flawless, and install was easy. Looks fabulous. But. The plane comes in and out, I walk across the tiles and I put my vehicle in the hangar while away in the plane. The glossy finish looks excellent when clean, but shows every footprint and tire track. If it’s dry, the the tracks show in the dust...if the tires are wet (this is in Portland Oregon), the water and dust make mud, and show the tracks. If I had it to do over again, I’d go with a flat or matte finish product. It would work much better. Also, in the summer with the door open, the sunlight heats the tiles and they warp a bit like the edge of a bacon strip until they cool. Otherwise, the company over performed. I just chose the wrong product. Perhaps they might consider a product specifically for aircraft hangars with these considerations.
Weekend DIY Project
Easier than I thought to install, but because my garage is pretty big (40x24), I decided to do 2x2 squares so it wouldn’t look too busy, so I didn’t have to break them apart out of the box, made assembly way easier and minimized breaking any of the tabs. Still broke a few tabs assembling, but there are enough tabs that it didn’t affect anything. I installed a roofing underlayment underneath the tiles (Tiger Paw Roof Deck Protection) that reduces any noise and prevents water penetration. As for the colors, I used black, victory red and gunmetal...but I did order sample prior too, and they came super quick. Shipping on all the garage tiles was fairly fast, I’m not sure if they shipped when they said they would, think it was a few days later, but fit my schedule so no worries. The tiles only took about 8 hours for me to install, including the underlayment, but the trimming of the back wall (40’) and all three garage door rails and some misc cutting near the man doors took another 4-5 hours. Regardless, easy weekend job. And to cut tiles, I used a jig saw on low speed, ripped right through (used a piece of wood clamped to the tile to guide the saw for a straight cut) and then ran a file over the edge to clean up. Very impressed with these tiles and the look and will recommend them.
Avoid Direct Sunlight
TIP: Install a weed fabric under the tiles. Its super cheap and really cuts down on the noise while walking. Also, wear a harder soled shoe, it makes stepping them into place much easier.
