Does not hold larger diameter wheels (i.e. 29")
It is not wide enough nor tall enough to hold my mountain bike with has tires that are 2.9x29 inches. It worked pretty well on a bike with 26 inch tires.

It is more stable than some more expensive
This stand is more stable than one previously purchased at a higher price. The feet are 3 inches wider which makes a huge difference. I have it on a two inch shag rug on top of shag carpet and it is still stable. The stand folds and locks flat. It is grey instead of black but I can live with that. Tires on the bike in the image are 2.3"" and fit snug in the stand which actually adds to stability. You may be able to fit up to 2.5"" depending on tread. \n\n*Using wide tires with any of these type of stand requires placing a foot on the stand when removing the bike, unless it is mounted to the floor.
