Does the Job, Couple oddities

This was a replacement bench for an earlier model. Perfect for my intended workout (chest presses and preacher curls). Didn't like that brand labels were peeling off, made me think it was a knockoff product. Protective plastic impossible to remove from seat back, and some bolts not fully tightened. Still ok to use, but needless flaws IMHO.

Good product

The product itself is stable(not wobbly) and safe to stand on if bellow weight capacity of 500lbs.

See what other customers have said about this product:

This bench came pre-assembled and ready to use. It is super solid and sturdy with good quality padding. The height is perfect for sitting and lying down (we are 5'8" and 6'2" for reference). The back is easy to adjust. Love that it so easily folds down and can be slid under the bed or tucked away in a closet. Quality design, well made, highly recommend.

Good, sturdy bench.

Good, sturdy bench with thick padding; folds flat so you can store it against a wall and out of the way. I like that you have the option of positioning the bench either flat, incline or decline to work different areas of the chest with dumbbells. Make sure to place a long towel over the bench padding when working out to help preserve the vinyl covering; with previous benches I had I neglected to do this, and over time the vinyl covering began to crack. The only thing I don't like is that you can't adjust the seat position upwards; it just stays in a flat position. The reason it would be preferable to have an adjustable seat, is that when you are doing incline presses, it helps to have the seat in an inclined position so you don't slide off the end of the seat. Otherwise, I highly recommend this bench. Walmart's price is about $60 less then Dick's Sporting Goods and Walmart accepts in-store returns.

Great feel, function, and look! The plastic is hard to get out though...

Title pretty much says it all. There's a plastic wrap around the seat of the chair, which is good I guess, but it's pretty much impossible to get it all out unless you want to unscrew the cushion from the frame. For that, I'm being a little over critical and saying it's only 4 stars, but in all honesty, to most it probably won't be an issue at all (you can get a lot of it out).

Awesome bench. Only hiccup was

Awesome bench. Only hiccup was having a nonadjustable seat when doing inclines and especially decline work because it's hard to keep anchored and stable on the bench without sliding. Get the upgraded "FID" bench with the adjustable seat. It's worth the extra investment! I do love the convenience of it being foldable considering my limited space.

Great bench!

Great!! The flat position is actually flat. It's a bit high but I can rest my feet on the ankle support which is fine in flat position. The incline positions go through a nice range. It is sturdy and easy to move around. it will not fit under a low profile bed. The best part was you take it out of the box, take the plastic off and get going! No assembly needed! Love it!

Great FID bench for the price point

Bench came quickly. No set up required other than removing plastic! Very easy to adjust incline/decline. Padding is nice. This bench is for my garage gym and is a great addition; wheels on one end to roll and not heavy. I do not have to fold it yp, but a nice feature and easy to do if you need it. I would absolutely recommend this company and product

The Perfect Bench For Small (or large) Spaces

I’ve always worked out at home - like to keep it to myself, don’t want to socialize- just want to get it done with no distractions. My workout room is shared with my laundry room and this bench was a beautiful addition - the only bench I could find that was able to be wall mountable AND easy enough for me to lift it off and on the wall. It was mounted at the perfect height for me to do that. It is fully adjustable for incline and decline. Padding is sufficient. The bench is perfect for me. Had some trouble when it first arrived but Joe helped me out and the parts needed were shipped out fast and I wasn’t able to put them on but my husband was. I really like this bench. The picture attached is the bench hanging in the wall with a piece of plexiglass to protect the wall from taking the bench off and off the wall everyday. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am completely satisfied. Customer service is A+

Great!

This bench is really good quality and it was better than expected given the reasonable price point. It is very sturdy, I can do step ups on it without feeling unsafe, the bench does not wobble at all. What I love most about it is that it folds away and can be stored easily. I was expecting less quality from a folding bench but this one is really good and so worth the money! Definitely and investment and has made my workouts so much better. Also, I just wanted to note that the customer service for this website is second to none. Lucas responded to my emails almost immediately and answered all my questions. Will definitely buy from this website again!

Reasonable piece of equipment

Seems strong and robust although the fact there is no locking mechanism when using the incline seems a bit precarious in handling. The wheels may help in transporting the bench but if not careful the whole bench may slip away from you when trying to put it away upright against a wall. When it arrived there was dust over the end which means it had been stored a while and the labels underneath were running with stickiness that was all over the back at both ends - it was extremely difficult to clean and eventually needed WD40 to clean it of, which it did first time, but this should not have been necessary in the first place. Also, the seat was covered in plastic (apart from the very end with the dust on) and it had been 'fixed' in place with screws through it into the metal frame; the only way to remove completely without leaving it torn off and having bits hanging out along the edge, was to unbolt the seat from the frame where I found that the plastic had left a residue on the underside of the seat. Although I tried, it was impossible to get this shiny residue off - it was not sticky so I decided to just accept it as it was, and it has been fine. Overall, the bench is sturdy and wiil do the job I need to do basic conditioning with light dumbells; I don't think there would be a problem if you used it for bench press upto perhaps 120kg or a little more, and reasonably heavy dumbells. It will last a long time as a general fitness/conditioning bench. I am also able to do sit-ups on it by sitting well back on the largest seat section and hooking my feet in the two struts - useful for some adominal strength at least. If you can accept the possibility of the few problems mentioned, the bench is probably a useful tool for many years

Good product

Quality product. Well built. The gap between the cushions is where I end up after I sit up from doing dumbbell presses. If I sit on the edge of the seat and lay down then I hit the top of the cushion above my head with the dumbbells but if I sit farther back on the seat then my head almost hangs off the bench. So I settle for the gap. The foot "pegs" are only useful if I sit in the gap then I can hook my feet under them otherwise my feet are at the wrong angle to get under them. None of that is a huge deal to me but I thought it was important to note for other potential buyers. It also came dented on the flat plate on the front of the seat. With all that said I'm still ok with this purchase. I'm 5'11".

Powerline Folding Incline/decline Bench

This is a great product for the price. I needed something along the semi commercial line I could fold up and transport to clients homes as I work as a mobile personal trainer . Its not the lightest bench on the market but far more sturdy than other models I’ve seen and used. Only problem I’ve encountered is a slight rip in the seat cover where I caught it inside the. Car. If the material had been thicker this may not have happened. Overall a great purchase and compliments my other mobile equipment. This bench would also be great as a fixed feature in the average home gym set up .

Impressed

It took me a while to find a bench with the spec that I wanted. This bench was just what I was looking for. Ready assembled, foldable yet sturdy, fast to get ready for use and quick to stow away. It's fast and easy to adjust the bench into it's different positions.

Taking it up to the next level

This has been a long overdue purchase. I used to have one of those old Ab King Pro which I used as a bench when working out with the dumbbells. But then it got damaged and had to be thrown out. I never felt like it was the best workout bench anyway. For years I thought about replacing it with a proper bench but didn’t. I just got used to working out without a bench because you still can. Just recently I decided to look at the DVD’s for my Bowflex Dumbbells which I have had for a while. I had almost forgotten all about them because I was starting to do the P90X workout.

Very Pleased

I had read a number of reviews before purchasing this bench. Most were very positive, but the negative ones gave me some pause for thought. My biggest concern was overall bench length. I'm 6'-6" and I wanted a bench long enough. I ordered the PFID125X and was very pleased. I did my first workouts today and I can use this bench without hanging over the top. The backrest is suitably long enough a real pleasant surprise! I really can't find any of the flaws that I read about in some of the reviews. The bench came fully assembled and the padding had a protective plastic cover. The padding is nice and the cover looks like it will wear nicely. Changing back positions is very easy as is folding for storage. Yes it's made in China but I really can't find any fault in the construction. I'm 235lbs and it supports me easily along with weights. Glad I bought this bench.
