It is a very nice looking set.

We really like the looks of this set. It's well worth the price paid. It is made for sitting for a short time not for long periods as it isn't comfortable for lounging. If you have children that are very active you may need a more sturdy set. If used for sitting, it should last a long time.

Patio furniture came a few days before the estimated delivery date. Very easy to set up. Everything was included including the tool and screws needed. No damage to the furniture during shipping-packed well protected. About 2 hours, including clean-up and breaking down the boxes for recycling. I'm in my 4-seasons room sipping a cup of hot cocoa and enjoying my new furniture. Highly recommended.

Beautiful set

Beautiful patio set. I purchased it on sale for $350 which is think is a fair price, would not have paid more. The cushions were flawless but the wood was slightly damaged on some pieces. It was easy to assemble, just lots of hex screws. I assembled alone but would have liked another person. The set is perfect for a smaller patio as it is not super large but can comfortably sit four people that are on the smaller side.

The wooden part has held up pretty well. I do oil it twice a year, and cover during winter. The cushion fabric was not great, hard to keep clean and I scotchgarded them before I ever used them. I replaced them this year. Used teak cleaner on it this year to get the gray off the wood and stained with teak colored stain, before oiling. Still looks good, no cracks. Not a huge furniture set, so if you want something oversized, this is not it.

The Pros: This is a very nice looking, stylish, patio set. It was very easy to assemble and took less than an hour. I built the table and one chair myself, but then my husband helped with the second chair and the loveseat, and having an extra set of hands definitely made it easier. We installed all of the screws and then tightened them down sequentially and incrementally so that everything lined up perfectly. We have a very small deck and it fits our space perfectly. The Cons: this set is not comfortable. The whole reason for buying this patio set was to create a comfortable entertaining space on our very small deck. The back rest on the loveseat and chairs is quite vertical. Using the included throw pillows definitely helps, but had other reviews consistently commented on this not being comfortable, I would not have purchased it. It’s too much trouble to disassemble and send back, so we will live with it. But it does not inspire chilling on the deck. This does not seem to be the type of furniture that will last for years. It seems quite fragile. Ours arrived with a crack in the seat part of the loveseat. Not sure how we’ll handle that if it worsens, but for now it’s not presenting a stability problem. Bottom line: Knowing what I know now I would not re-purchase the set.

This set really helped complete our screened patio renovation. At first I was skeptical buying wooden furniture having only owned wicker and metal patio furniture, but my wife really wanted to try wood so we went ahead and ordered. I was pleasantly surprised as I assembled the patio set feeling it was quite sturdy and easy to put together. I made sure to use wood glue on all of the screws in hopes of expanding the longevity of its lifespan. It did not take long to put together I did it with my morning coffee. One caveat or a bit of information I would like to pass on pertains to the back rest. The backrest is very upright with a slight band at the lower back. I recommend adding extra pillows for additional support. The cushions that came with the set are quite firm but should soften with more use. We are excited to host a large gathering and see this patio set be used at our baby shower! I would recommend this product to a friend. PS. The rug pictured is a 6’x9’ size.

Pretty but damaged!

I was so excited to get this set. For the price, I expected the quality to be decent. The box was not damaged when it arrived, but when we went to assemble it, there were scratches and gouges all over EVERY wooden piece! So disappointed. Some of the gouges will be covered up by the cushions but most are so noticeable and look horrible (with one massive one in the middle of the coffee table top). Assembly was a pain. Many of the pre-drilled holes and pegs didn’t line up and were warped. My husband had to manipulate the pegs and screws with vice grips to get things to fit. It’s such a shame because from a distance it looks beautiful. The chairs and loveseat are actually quite comfortable too.

The set is ok. On the small side. You would not call the size generous or ample, but basic; for average-sized adults. It took two people 90 minutes to assemble the set. Open the box from the middle of the top, cut along the dotted line. The parts are packed densely and tied together with cloth ties. BEST TIP: Use a cordless power drill and a 3/16 hex drill bit and assembly goes much much faster than with the old-fashioned Allen wrench, included. (I went to **** ***** in the middle of assembly to get the 3/16 hex bit.) The two-person sized loveseat and chairs are assembled sides-and back first, then seat. Don’t tighten anything until everything is connected. Don’t over tighten the hex screws. The final hex screws go in the bottom and they didn’t always align and new pilot holes were sometimes needed to be drilled. The staining is not 100% consistent so make sure you match the L-R side-pieces by color. The table went together as expected. The wood parts were not labeled with letter stickers keyed to the instructions, which would have helped. There are two sized screws, long and short. The instructions are ok but not well-edited and very basic. Other reviewers thought the cushions are thin but I think they’re appropriate.

Great buy at a great price

This set looks much more expensive than the price paid for. It is more than I expected, it’s sturdy and strong, it looks the same as described, it’s all wood! It looks great at the space I had saved for it, all I need now is an outdoor rug to go with it, I’m enjoying it to the max! I recommend it 100%. After a little less than a year of use, the back of the couch broke at the screw, I’ve called the manufacturer and had to leave a message fir a call back, still awaits fir that call. I will keep you posted. Very disappointed, neither the manufacturer, Safavieh, nor Overstock offer to replace or repair the bench definitely something was wrong with the material or workmanship because it broke after a few uses. This item was bought for my summer home therefore was not used enough by the time I wrote the first review. Will not buy any thing else from this manufacturer.

Wow! This patio set surpassed all my expectations! Between my Club O discount and a sale going on, I got this set for next to nothing, so I didn't have high hopes for the quality. The ginormous box (seriously, do NOT underestimate the size and weight of the box!) arrived so quickly, and I put the entire set together by myself in a little over an hour - very easy. While the yellow cushions are on the thinner side, they're surprisingly comfortable, and seriously brighten up my shady patio. The chairs are surprisingly sturdy too, given the price point. The navy pillows come with the set as well. The rug in my photos is 5x7 purchased from Overstock, and the whole set is the perfect size. The loveseat fits two people comfortably, and the height of the seats are not too low like other sets on Overstock. Can't wait to bring all my plants outside for the summer and enjoy my backyard from this patio set.

Poorly Designed Couch will Break

I bought this set last year to set up for a quarantine patio space. Within six months of never more than one person sitting on the loveseat, it had broken. Overstock says the manufacturer does not provide replacement parts when you call to request them. They were unsympathetic about an over $*** purchase that is now a hazard to sit on. I should have bought the warranty, they said, and they don’t stand behind an item for more than 30 days after purchase. Great policy. The design flaw is no support in the center of the loveseat. It’s structurally unsound for an average size adult, unless you are sitting on the very edges of the loveseat. Do not buy this set. The chairs are designed well, but the loveseat is now headed to the dump, along with my $****.

Absolutely perfect!

So, I purchased a few sets of outdoor furniture for our 3rd home we purchased, and it’s been under renovations forever! I figured what the heck, may as well get what I want this time and not go for the pure plastic stuff. I was wanting to go for a boho theme and really loved the teakwood look. So, here is my honest review below.

Pass On This or Pass Out From Fumes

We have ordered rugs from Safavieh and been pleased, so I was a bit taken aback by this patio set. It doesn’t reflect positively on their brand. When we unboxed the set, the first thing we noticed was the overpowering chemical smell. I don’t judge too harshly, most furniture has an air out process. But this? The fumes from either the varnish or the furniture glue actually made me nauseous and dizzy. Although we opened the shipping box in the garage, I had to turn on a floor fan and open the garage door in order for the smell to dissipate. While putting it together I had to wear a mask - it was that strong. The other thing I noticed is the liberal use of either varnish or glue that made the furniture pieces have a sticky quality to them when touched. The sheen in the pictures I took is not from the sun or because I just dusted or even because the piece was wet - none of those. That sheen is from the varnish, that is how thick it is on this set. I gave the set 2 stars because it’s affordable, it came with all the pieces needed, and nothing was damaged. Would I order it again? Probably not. I am grateful it’s an outdoor set because we wouldn’t be able to stand the smell indoors.

Would have rather spent for for comfort/longevity

Pros: this set looks cute, it was shipped quickly and efficiently, the cushions can be wiped down easily Cons: one of the bars on the backs of the chair cane broken which we only noticed once the chair was assembled. The only way to get our money Was to take apart the chair and send it back which doesn’t seem worth the hassle. There was a very strong chemical smell that came off the furniture which I didn’t mind much since we are keeping it outside. The cushions are super thin and after being sat in for 1 hour, already have significant wear. Lastly, there are these tiny silver plates with the brand name screwed into each piece but they are all secured crooked. It looks terrible. I am all for discount shopping but this set is not going to get you the bang for you buck that you may be looking for. I would have rather spent another $**** to get something more sustainable and comfortable. Would not recommend.

Delightful set of table & chairs

It's well designed & made patio set. Washed grey tone has a slight hint of bluish tone and looks wonderful if you are in a search for this particular color. All pieces are solid and perfectly aligned to be bolted on. MAKE SURE that the Safavieh name plaque faces towards the back and not facing forward when you assemble the chairs. Instruction does not state this so I had to reassemble after having completed. Do not over-torque all the bolts. Hand tighten them firmly. The cushions are adequate but you may want to throw some pillows of your choice to bring more flavor out of this set and also to be more comfortable to sit on. Good,cozy sized for my apartment's patio area. Feels very sturdy with no squeaks. Highly recommend!

Stylish outdoor set

Great style and such a good price! The grey is light, but looks a bit weathered which will look good over time being an outdoor set. Easy to assemble. The cushions aren't great since they're hard and don't feel like the best quality. But they feel waterproof and I can easily switch them out at some point. The strings to tie them onto the furniture could be much longer since they were so short they were actually hard to tie. Also, the color is cream and should have been more grey to match the furniture, but again I can just change them. Also, since this didn't come with a dining table, we just got a cheaper one that folds up to use for those times since it won't be most of the time. Overall, highly recommend.

Looks nice & moderately comfortable

This is well worth the price I paid. It looks great and fits our space nicely. The seat backs are minimally curved and the pads are thin, so these aren't super comfortable, but they aren't particularly uncomfortable either. If you don't want to or can't spend much, but want something that looks nice and provides seating, this is a great choice. If you don't mind spending more and comfort is high on your priority list, you might want to pick something nicer. We will probably replace the pads once having parties is a thing again. Putting it together was easy for this middle-aged medium sized female to do by myself. A word of warning: The hardware was not labeled and I did accidentally grab a longer screw when putting together the table. The darn thing broke through the top of the table, so I have to fix that. My fault, but definitely would love to see the different acres separated or labeled in some way. Oh and one thing to think about is having some weather oil/sealant/clear coat on hand to treat this before using. The finish is pretty light and feels like bare wood in some places. I can't swear to it, but I doubt this will last long in a humid climate without further treating it. We plan to do that as soon as we can go get some supplies.

Grey wash looks dirty and appears old and used

Set itself seems pretty sturdy but the grey wash is absolutely hideous. It seriously looks dirty. Doesn't look anything like the photos. The cushions are ok, but the cheapest quality they could have included. In order to make this set look the least bit presentable we are going to have to find a way to re polish it so it doesn't look so dirty. First glance, my parents sat down and thought we purchased it used because it looked so dirty. We also we not set enough of the bigger screws so we are afraid it wont last as long as it should. Would I recommend purchasing this.. Hmm its not a bad price for what you get, it seems to be sturdy so far but we've only had it up a few days. If you can re furbish it to make it look presentable and not dirty for cheap then I would say its worth it. You will def need to get new seat cushions or do like we are and just put covers on the ones it came with.

Upon originally getting this set I had two broken pieces. Overstock was amazing and immediately sent me out another complete set. The next set came with one piece broken. In the end I was able to have a complete set with all of the pieces not broken so it worked out. The pieces were super attractive and I received a ton of compliments on them. But I confess the quality made me a little nervous, especially when heavier people were sitting on the love seat. I ended up reinforcing the love seat with a 2x4 so it had extra support in the center. It should also be noted that I regularly used orange oil on all of the pieces, hoping it would prolong the wood. After having the set go through the winter I am unfortunately reporting that while it’s great looking I was really only able to get one season out of. I purchased covers for all of the pieces to protect them through the Connecticut winter but it seems like the temperature and moisture was too much for these pieces. If I had adequate indoor storage this would have lasted two seasons. But the somewhat precarious quality of the loveseat alone gave me a little more anxiety then I would have preferred. That being said, you get what you pay for... If you’re ok buying and putting together a new set every year or two this may be a good choice for you. But don’t expect this set to have any longevity to it.
