Looks great, but has a design flaw

The piece looks great. I purchased it because it matches the media cabinets I bought from the same line. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because it does not come with a way to attach the middle shelves. It's likely that the manufacturer assumed that once the piece was put together that the middle shelves would be held in by tension, however when the frame is assembled (top, bottom, sides and back) it's about 1/2" too wide to create any tension and the middle shelves slide right out very easily and are extremely dangerous. I had to figure out a create way to secure the middle shelves and decide to use wall anchors to affix the rear edges of the shelves to the back of the frame, and epoxy to glue them to the shelf ledges to further secure them. The manufacturer needs to figure out their own way of making the piece with a way to secure the shelves as part of the assembly.

I bought this piece to use as a bookcase and am glad I did. It is very high quality for the price and I love how much room there is on each shelf. No assembly is required so setting it up by myself was quick and easy.

Easy & Cute

It is very easy to set up and move -- the shelves fold in and are pretty sturdy... My cat has scratched it and no damage! We use it as a decorative bookshelf... cute and stylish.
