Beautiful placemats

These placemats are gorgeous but I was surprised by their stiffness. I'll toss them in the wash and definitely run the iron over them before use. I'm glad that I purchased them, I just wish they weren't stiff. Weird

Bigger, good quality placemats

These placemats are nice and good quality like you expect from Villroy & Boch. They are a bit bigger than the usual American placemats. I like that there is more room for glasses too.

The placemats were terrific and exactly as described in customer reviews. The placemats really set off the French Garden round tablecloth. A guest's tomato stain came out easily. I was very happy with the whole matching set.

Birthday Gift of Villeroy&Boch placements/napkins

I really liked them and the recipient, my dear friend, LOVES them. I Iike them so much I'm coming back and ordering a set for me. She also called to tell me it's the nicest Birthday gift she received.

Too hard to clean, requires ironing,

I love the fabric and they match my dishes, but you need to hang dry and iron. Even after ironing they are wrinkled and stains do not easily come out. My mistake not reading instructions before purchasing.

This was a gift. I have a set myself. The placemats are really large, meaning two fit on a round table. The colors and fruit pattern attracted me. And reversible too. I am now a "fan" of Villeroy and Boch. Whether purchased as a gift or for yourself, you cannot go wrong.

Beautiful fabric BUT the removable tags are sewn into the placemats at a place where you cannot remove them without destroying the stitches that hold the mat together!!! Seriously impossible. I spent hours with tweezers and scissors, but they simply don’t come out without ruining the stitchwork

Exactly what I wanted! These beautiful placemats and napkins set a lovely table with the Villeroy & Boch French Garden dinnerware. Also, I'm able to reverse the placemats and set a table with a different dinnerware pattern.

More disappointing Villeroy and Boch linens

I bought them thinking they would wash well and not need ironing. They look old, wrinkled and tired after just one wash. I bought them to be elegant and they look dowdy now. Also they are not actually reversible because of the way the tags are sewn in. Disappointing. Way too much work to make them look acceptable.

My Grandkids Love setting the table for us for a fun summer luncheon together! The argue over which side of these placemats to showoff! So we let each one choose for themselves! Love the fun we have with our Villeroy & Boch French Garden dishes and linens!! ❤️

The best reversible placemats

We got these to complete our place settings which were all in Villeroy & Boch's French Garden pattern. We were so delighted with the designs and the colors. We got them in time to enjoy with our Easter Dinner on our new table, which included the matching napkins. Our guests were thrilled and complimented us on such a delightful pattern.
