Simple and light

It’s the perfect tiny desk for simple computer setup. I have a small apartment and didn’t want to dedicate too much space to my work. This would be ideal for a minimalist, college student, or writer.

Desk Cheap flimsy Legs

the lags are too weak and flimsy bc it was missing peices had to rig the lower shelf toward the top bcs of this and i wont return the desk can barely be moved ine of the legs fell off when i tried 2 do this. and its instructions make it hard to put together. got to the end realizing 3 peices are missing!! i will have to continue to rig this thing to be able to use it. Gave it 1 stars but the top of the desk is the best feature but how good is that if it has weak legs =/

good for the price, simple and cute

i’m using it as a vanity, the height and size are accurate. i’d say it’s worth the money, i did get a little confused putting it together ( one part did not line up but it still ended up working out and looking good ). keep in mind this is a pretty cheap desk so for the price i think it’s great. i’m pretty slow so if i could figure out how to put it together anyone could lol it’s pretty simple but on the downside the instructions are just pictures with labeled parts, i feel like some words explaining what to do would be nice, due to the instructions i give this desk 4 stars.

Cute while it lasted

I have bought this desk twice as it is just the right size for a corner wall in my home to place my computer and printer. There is a reason as to why I bought it twice. Though practical, it is quite flimsy. Screws keep coming undone and one of the legs has now broken, not giving it any real stability anymore. Cute while it lasted, but won't be buying another.

Great buy for any age group. Good buy.

I purchased this desk for my 5 year old granddaughter. She loves it! I think it would be good for any age group. The cubbys hold containers for pencils, marker, scratch paper, etc. The desk is large enough to hold a small basket for larger items and has a "foot board" to hold more containers. It was very easy to assemble. I plan on painting the backmof the desk top with chalkboard paint since the back is seen by everyone in the room.

Cute but not worth it. Disappointed

I love the look and style of this desk, I absolutely do. When it comes to the wood/material and hardwear i give it a thumbs down. Easy to put together but the hardwrar doesnt fit snug or tighten hard enough. The partial wood crumbled. It wobbles and will not fit tightly together. Very disappointed in this item. I gave it 2 stars because I only like the look/style.

Just EXPECT damaged pieces

I've order furinno products before, the packaging is horrible. Only once was it so bad I sent it back. Otherwise, some wood glue and brown or black marker and it's good to go. For the price it's good, just be prepared for anything. I'm happy with the desk. It's nice looking, small and serves its purpose. Easy to put together. Fit perfectly in the place I designated and I'm pleased. Couple of dings, but I took a black sharpie and gorilla glue and you can't tell. Pics were taken before I made the cosmetic improvements.

Cute but Poor Directions

This was a very cute desk and reasonably priced. But, the instructions were so impossible to understand. Also, the manner of construction was not efficient. I had to kind of 'rethink' the process. The marking for the screws, etc was also just terrible. I have been making various make at home furniture pieces for over 25 years and I must say this is the worst! Unfortunately, as this was such a wonderful design.

Not worth the money - missing parts

We are two hours into putting it together and there are wrong screws included and it is very poor workmanship and directions. I am assuming it is just making it more difficult since the wrong hardware was included. Yes it was inexpensive but you should for more than $50 you should at least get a half decent product. Very disappointed. We are now taking it apart and going out and buying the correct hardware. Lost money on this purchase. Horrible.

Great for kids that don't like to jump on desks.

Works great for kids, but don't expect it to last a long time. Wife purchased 2 desks. Someone mentioned the bottom boards didnt have pre-holes for the bottom shelf, they probably placed the board upside down, I made that same mistake, the directions don't specify orientation for the holes and honestly I didn't even see them until it was time to put the bottom shelf on so I just screwed it on anyway. Its particle board, you can easily screw into it. 2nd desk was placed the right way and it worked just fine. Holes are drilled a little bigger so you can adjust the board so it fits nice and tight. The "wood" is like particle board that will break easily if you over tighten the screws. But if you are in a budget and need a desk for your kids to home school this should work just fine. Also, directions say 30 minutes for 2 people, had both put together just around 1hr 45 min by myself, I guess it would of been easier to have extra hands but not necessary. It is a very small light desk after all.

Trash!!!!

You get what you paid for!! This desk is was not very sturdy. I had a very hard time putting it together, not all the screws aligned with the holes. The instructions for some part was very vague. On the packet it said 30 minutes to assemble but it took me about three hours with assembly. During the process, some of the wood parts began to chip. The material was cheap. Not all the screws were placed because of the alignments. Overall the desk came together but the sturdiness is trash and by the sounds of it more than just a little pressure could set it off.

Youll get better quality with your moneyDon't buy

Do not purchase. One of the back bracing boards had holes that were drilled too big for the screws assigned to it. so I ended up not being about to use that board but.. it still worked and was reasonably stable. but that was one step 3. so I put the rest of it together and the last step has a board that goes on the bottom but has no predrilled holes in the area it's supposed to attach to. so again I couldn't use that board either. In the end it's up and will suffice but NOT worth the money. will not recommend and will not buy again.

Crappy particle board

I dont see how this thing has a higher star rating. I was using a screw driver for god sakes and the particle board was STILL stripping out. I was twisting the screws and they just kept turning; never tightening. I thought that, like, okay whatever lets just see how it goes, so i kept building it. I stood the one frame up and it literally fell apart in my hands. The particle board was so freaking cheap. Its like it wasnt pressed enough. I know the price was too good to be true

Takes up very little space, is very sturdy, and overall just suits my needs. I use it to use my laptop on and even use it when working on my models. The bottom shelf can also be a lil foot rest but I wouldn't use it that way. Instead I keep a tupperware that I keep any files or paperwork in on it and it holds up great. The Home Depot I got it from even put it together for me which is great because I'd rather let professionals do it for me but from what I hear it's very easy to assemble. All around it's a very good desk for a low price and would recommend it to others.

This thing was a NIGHTMARE to put together. The screws aren't labeled so it was a guess which to use where and we still wound up with screws sticking out in the back. One set of screws is too short to hold it together and the other is too long to go in without sticking out. Also while it says the weight capacity is 10 30 10 it looks and feels more like 5 10 5. Directions say 30 mins to put together, it took almost 2 hours, 4 adults and some serious language. So, you get what you pay for. If it's for little kids and your time is worth nothing this is still just okay. If you value your sanity and marriage just spend another $30 and get a better desk.

Read the manual carefully and enjoy the results

* I was looking for a standing desk from an ethical source, but I was too picky to get one second hand, and didn't want to break the bank. So I was very pleased to find this desk (and the Furrino brand) is made of recycled materials. * It was also a great benefit that I would be given the chance to assemble the desk myself -- more fulfilling in the end. * For my height, this desk was just right. But you can always adjust by putting something underneath it. * The desk isn't heavy, which makes it easy to carry where I need it and means I'll be able to take it with me when I move. Carrying it up the stairs was no problem. * In order to get it just right, I taped markings to each part temporarily and counted up everything before starting. The instructions are kind of terrible, but be patient and careful, and the end result will be very satisfying. * I had screwed the wrong thing into the wrong thing,, so to fix that I used DryDex on the screw holes and then tried screwing in again -- worked beautifully. * Only problem would be that it's not terribly sturdy. It can handle only 10-30 lbs, so don't stand on it or anything. * Personally, I felt that the cubby didn't need a a back, so I left the back off so wires could come through. All in all, great cheap, ethical desk for your computeror writing.
