Less than great

The a/c is great but my experience with the sales associate was not. There were 3 guys standing around tzlking. I looked around at the a/c and found one I liked so I went over to the men and asked for help. He reluctantly came over and I told him I needed a 10,000btu he said are you sure, I said yes he then asked if I was replacing one and I said yes. He asked me what size I had and told him it was a 10,000. Again he asked if I was sure and I said yes, I'm not an idiot. He was being very condesending and I didn't appreciate it. Just because I'm a senior citizen doesn't mean I stupid. Then I went to pay for it and he asked if I wanted insurance on it and he told me the prices and I said no. He then told me that things don,t last that long without breaking down. So I said you're basically telling me this is crap and I shouldn't buy it and he started saying no but you should get the insurance and again I said no. He wasn't very friendly and if I didn't need it I would have walked out. I know they !ake !oney on the insurance but when I told him no he should have listened. Then I told CV him I needed someone to put it in my car and you would have thought I asked him to carry it to my house. I brought my car to the door and he put it in the back and left the trunk door open and never said thank you or have a nice day. If he was a nicer guy I would have tipped him but he got nothing for being rude. You. Need to hire friendly people.

not built to last

unit works well but don't seem to last long. this unit is replacing one that we purchased two years ago. thankfully we had the waranty.

Buyer beware!

I originally purchased this unit in July 2023, since my only-3-years-old Frigidaire AC was pumping out moldy air. This worked well for a few weeks…and then it started making a faint rattling noise. That noise then turned into a loud cracking/crackling noise, particularly when the compressor turned on.
