I ordered two of these Frigidaire units and was told that both would arrive with a week. One arrived a week later. That unit did work. I had to contact the company several weeks later as to when they would ship the other unit. Another week passed and I was then told that they no longer had those units in stock. Wayfair should never have accepted my purchase of two units if they did not have the items in stock. At least the company had the decency to issue a refund.

This is a very heavy duty unit. It's going to heat and cool a 3 season room. I've had others, but with a 5 year warranty, I hope this will last a lot longer. It will prevent my house plants from getting too cold. I think with the BTU rating, that it will not have to work so hard to heat and cool the room.

Do Not Buy

Had a little over a year and it keeps throwing a P1 error code . We drain all the areas that have water and it works for a day then stops . Paid over $500 a year ago in May and now it’s not working smh .

The unit cools very well and the ability to control it via the app is great. Overall, the unit operates quietly but there is either a loose screw or a design flaw that causes the plastic to vibrate on one side creating a very unpleasant noise.

Ensure proper venting or the compressor will shut off as a safety measure and you’ll be left with a very large and expensive fan. Expected better performance from a 14,000 BTU unit but it seems well built and has not been prone to failure.

On June 2020 I purchased my first AC from Frigidaire, model FHPC132AB1 (serial number XK00201502) and it still working very well.

Frigidaire has always been my go-to brand, and this unit is no exception. It cools down nicely and

Works flawlessly. Would recommend if a portable unit is needed.

Works well, but the hose is VERY short, not suitable for all windows as a result, and the plastic shield you use to block off the remainder of the windows requires a hacksaw to be cut down to size, also unsuitable for most windows. Hose not well attached to its end, and pops out regularly.
