My first thought when I opened these were that they were very unique in look and feel. My kids think they are the best thing ever! I love the sturdy, stiffness of them and the nice, bold yellow color! They certainly make a statement on your dining room table! They quickly brighten up your table and offer a nice, fun look! I decided on the straw green placemats because Easter is coming up and they made me think of spring. Besides using them as regular placemats, I can also use them as centerpieces on dining tables, end tables or coffee tables. Simply place a flower vase, candle decoration or other ornament on it.
