One leg on bed would not go on without the help of an angle grinder to make adjustment! The bars that make the long side rails are supposed to join into each other to make one length.....but not with the help of heavy duty multi grips and hammer (and brute strength) to make one end smaller to fit in 2nd rail ! Single bed took 2 hours and many swear words to assemble. I know I could have sent it back, but needed the bed for visitors.

Absolutely perfect! Exactly as described. Super sturdy and well made. Excellent instructions and cool tools supplied makes it easy and fast to assemble.

I’ve had this frame for 3 years now. We ordered a queen size to use with our hybrid mattress with no foundation and it’s perfect. No bent metals or caving in. Hubby & I together weigh about 350 and both sleep fine. Easy assembly and easily attaches to a headboard. I love the space underneath for storage or makes cleaning much easier. The corners are also round so you don’t bump into them or stub your toes. I definitely recommend. I’m actually here to purchase two twin sized bed frames for my nieces. Definitely give it a try.

This base is good. It was easy to assemble. It's pretty lightweight too. Which I like for when I need to move the bed. I bought it because I thought it had a way to attach a headboard. It does not. I did buy a headboard and propped it against the wall to go with this bed. It works just fine. It's been over a year and my grandkids have put this bed to the test. It has passed with flying colors. I also have some storage ottomans with lids stored under the bed. The storage was an added bonus.

Not worth it

I've had this frame since the 5th of October, a little over a month now and I'm literally the only person sleeping in my bed and I've had to tighten the screws twice already, this frame is a headache. Also, it says that you don't need a box spring or bunkie board but I have a Necter mattress with a topper on it but it still feels like I'm laying on bars. I wouldn't recommend this frame. I wish I could return it but I'm passed the 30 days. I'll never shop this site again. As of the 18th of November, I've replaced this frame with something different. It was a waste of money and again, a total headache.

Awesome strong bed frame!

I was in need of a strong, sturdy bed frame and came across this one and thought why not. I am so happy that I bought it! It seems that today's bed frames aren't really strong like they were years ago. Not just myself, but several people I know have had issues as well with beds breaking during their sleep. With this bed frame, I sleep without fear, that it won't break on me and it is truly quite. No metal squeaking sounds at all when you move or get on /off the bed! Plus, the sticky strips that they provide to hold mattress in place really do work, my mattress doesn't slide off the bed at all. Because this frame doesn't have a headboard, footboard, or side rails to hold mattress in place, they provide long sticky strip that you place on each metal bar under the mattress. I thought, it was funny and won't be able to really work, but it does. .

Easy Assembly, Sturdy and Looks Good

I thought I was buying a platform base that was pre-assembled and all I had to do was snap it into place and tighten the screws. If that is what you are looking for, this is not it. It came in an 76" long box - king size - that was slender. I thought to myself there was no way a platform base could be in that box! Well it was. And it was surprisingly easy to assemble. The finishes are nice. No poor welds. It is sturdy and has been problem free to date which is almost a month now. The frame does come with adhesive strips which assist the mattress to remain in place on the frame. We didn't remove the backing at first thinking the weight of the mattress alone would keep it in place. That was not the case. It moved around easily on the frame. So we peeled the backing off and the mattress does not move. My concern is when we move, and have to remove the mattress and the put it back on the frame, how long will it keep it's adhesive properties? Time will tell on that question. That is my only issue with this frame. It is attractive and sturdy and does what I wanted it to do which is get the bed off of the floor and support the mattress well.

I decided to completely change my bedroom. I wanted to go through everything in the room and consolidate and organize. I bought a custom sized mattress, XL but more narrow than a full and more wide than a twin. This would allow me to walk all around my bed. The only thing is that I needed a strong high platform bed to accommodate the items I intended on storing under my bed. What about my odd sized mattress? I figured I would use a cut to size finish grade plywood on top of a bedframe without a headboard, I already dont use a headboard. Being as this endeavor became a mess, timing was critical. I ordered a Sleeplanner bedframe and I stupidly assumed that when they charged me, "processed" and "shipped" it that it would arrive as I was told it would but as the days passed it never came. What a fiasco! Different contact people told me they were "working on it", "trying to find it" but to no avail. It finally turned out the item had NEVER been processed or shipped because it was not in stock ***. I was *** sleeping on a mattress on the floor in a mess. I ordered the *** regular twin and hoped it would arrive. YES it did, right on time!! It was packaged very well and obviously much thought had gone into the design, manufacture, instructions and detail of this excellent product!! Even a nice note soothed my frazzled negative experience with Sleeplanner. *** is a superior, strong, attractive product and I am estatic at how easy is was designed to put together. I am recovering from a broken back so I really appreciate every well done aspect of this platform bed, even the note that accompanied it. I am SUPER JAZZED and extremely pleased!. The quality was beyond what I expected in that the item was very well engineered. I had every measurement in my long narrow room pre-planned and everything went smoothly and it all fits! GREAT BEDFRAME!!!
