[Rewarded Review] Great Mattress

Have never done a bed in the box before but decided to move to memory foam from a softer pillow-top mattress. This mattress is very firm and after 2 months my wife and I have both noticed better, deeper sleep and a great reduction in back pain. Please note this mattress is not for sleeping on your back/stomach and is intended for side sleeping, if you sleep on your back or stomach you will not like the feeling when you wake up.

First experience with a spring less mattress.

New purchase - limited use

I've slept on the mattress just once but woke up feeling better than the thinner, much older (15+ years?) and well used old Serta coil spring mattress I'm replacing. The 8" foam mattress was priced right, easy to setup and the first of it's type I've ever bought or slept on. So far a fan.

Pain free sleep

Bought this a month ago for my 70+ year old mother who had chronic hip pain in bed. She hasn’t had any pain since sleeping on this mattress! I bought the same for myself about 1 year ago and still love mine! Which is why I purchased one for her. Thank you Serta!

Comfortable Mattress

Purchased this mattress for our guest bedroom. While it was extremely heavy in the box, it was easy to unwrap and it immediately unfolded. I have a bad back and many mattresses bother my back. I slept on this mattress and found that it was comfortable and did not bother my back. I'm sure guests will get a good night's rest on this mattress.

My first time trying a mattress in a box and I'm very happy.

I was having persistent back pain and thought it might be my mattress, and thought I'd try the kind which gets shipped compressed in a box. I had no high expectations for it, but figured that it had to be better than the old one. Actually, it's wonderful. Not only is it helping the back pain, but I'm sleeping much more deeply (I can tell because I'm suddenly remembering my dreams) and waking up refreshed after fewer hours of sleep. And the setup was much easier than I was expecting, too. I thought you had to let these mattresses rest for five or more hours while they 'inflated', but this one is ready to go almost right out of the box. I read from other reviewers that it's a fairly firm mattress, and that might be right, because I'm accustomed to firm and prefer it. Two thumbs up from me, and lots of paws up from the dogs.

I Love It!

I'm a side sleeper but I wanted a mattress that was medium firm, and this is it! I wasn't sure about ordering the mattress online, sight unseen, but the reviews swayed me to try it. I must say that I have no regrets! As far as I'm concerned, the cost for this mattress was/is very reasonable. I've slept very well on this mattress and when I felt I wanted a little more softness, I placed my foam topper on it. I'm using this mattress on an adjustable bed and I am loving it! All I will say is, go ahead an try it! This mattress might surprise you as it did me, and if you don't like it, you can return it. I gotta tell you, even my pets like it!

listen, just don't buy this

I saw the other reviews, with issues about the mattress not unfurling or puffing up properly. I saw them, I ignored them.....and now I am right there with them. We have a Purple mattress in our main bedroom, was hoping to get something a little more affordable for the guest room so I opted for this guy. Great price point, the people who had no issues with quality seem to love theirs..so I thought hey why not, i'm sure the weird issues won't happen to me. Boy was I wrong. The entire left side of the mattress puffed up normally. But there was this deep crease that you could feel, running along the entire length of the right hand side. From the crease over, it was curled up and had a completely different texture than the other side. It felt lumpy and strange and there were parts that were very hard, where the foam literally felt like it was solid. I waited two whole days, just hoping it would fix itself. Well, it didn't and now I have to deal with trying to return a mattress which apparently is a really annoying process. Called Serta and they said Target has to be the one to deal with the issues since I purchased on their site, very much " not our problem." Now i've gotta wait for someone to pick it up before they'll give me a refund. If you're on the fence, save yourself the hassle and just don't. Obviously they've got some kinks (literally) to work out with the packaging of this item because something wonky is going on it seems for a good bit of people.

My Spine Says Thank You

This product has actually changed my life. Super dramatic I know but I was sleeping on a thin, soft mattress for the last two years and couldn’t figure out why I was paying so much money to a chiropractor. I received this mattress so quickly, we opened it up and gave it a couple hours to inflate and fill out its shape before laying down. Only the edges needed a couple hours to even out. I woke up the next morning after sleeping like a rock. The craziest thing was that I woke up with no pain in my back or shoulders!

Incredibly comfortable and easy to transport!

This review is for the 8” Serta® Sheer Slumber™ EZ Tote mattress. I bought two mattresses for use in a day bed with a trundle in my guest room, and my guests are all so happy with how comfortable the mattresses are! I've used Serta foam mattresses for about ten years now, and they really are the best. I've tried a few competitors over the years, and they're not as cozy, nor do they maintain their quality over time. I keep coming back to Serta. The Gel Memory Foam with the Foam Core strikes just the right balance of soft and firm; it's cozy while still supporting you in all the right places. I've never woken up with any back pain when I sleep on a Serta foam mattress. I can't say enough good things! Coupled with the price and the fact that this is shipped tightly rolled in a box (and is thus really easy to get into your house and unroll), this is a wonderful buy.

I had been apprehensive on purchasing a mattress in a box despite how popular they seem to have become because I just assumed they couldn't be as good as a "regular" mattress (including hybrid types like I have and enjoy on another bed) so when I got this I was prepared to be disappointed. I can admit I was wrong!

[Rewarded Review] Soft yet firm, cool yet comfortable

This Serta gel memory foam mattress strikes a great balance between soft and firm. The gel memory foam works better than the typical memory foam in terms of heat buildup. I tend to get hot easily and this mattress was very comfortable in that regard.

That is, when compared to the 'traditional' way of going to a mattress or department store.

[Rewarded Review] Easy 5-Star for Quality and Comfort

The Serta Sheep Retreat (medium 10”) is very comfortable. I used it on a platform bed base. It is made of gel memory foam which does prevent the over-heating that memory foam mattresses used to have – this is the most important point of these types of mattresses. So that is very good. The gel foam is so much better than the old memory foam that I would be very careful to ensure your mattress is like this one and has the gel beads in the memory foam.

I gave this item 3 stars due to being overly firm to the point where both my wife and I had to put a softer topper on it to make it work and be able to sleep on it. If you don’t mind a really firm bed that is very well made and great quality then this is for you. Maybe our problem is we slept on it after getting the delivery so it only had 3 to 4 hours of taking its shape. Sometimes these need up to 24 hours to get the full effect.

Very comfortable

The Serta foam mattress came in such a compact box that I was surprised how it fit inside. Once opened, the mattress expands rapidly but it takes a couple days to completely expand. There is a slight odor but it dissipates in a few days as well. The mattress is on the softer side so it’s good for me since I sleep on the side or stomach. I also like that the depth of the mattress isn’t too high and sits well on my platform bed. The cover is soft and silky and protects the foam inside. The foam inside is very good quality and I havent experienced any separating or lumpiness over time. Overall this is a very comfortable mattress and a great option aside from coil and spring mattresses.

Honestly impressed

I was so excited to try this new idea of a mattress in a box. I thought there was no way this could be comfortable, no way I wouldn’t need a box spring, no way this would just pop up and be a regular mattress but I was so wrong. It opened easy with the tool that came in the box. It unfurled easy and became straight in no time. And to my surprise no smell either. It was thick like a regular mattress and very comfortable. I was able to easily move this into the room and set up by myself. It’s not too heavy once it becomes flat either. This is the way all mattress should be. I’m thinking of getting a new one for my son”s full mattress because it’s very comfortable and has enough support. Just what you expect from a brand that I trust.

I've never slept this good!!!

I've browsed around for the perfect bed for a very long time, I can't ever find one that suits my exact needs for comfort. This mattress isn't too hard, too soft or a medium firmness. It's like the perfect combination of the three, plus it's memory foam. When me or my partner leaves the bed, it doesn't disturb the other partner! You shape right into the bed, I can't stop talking about it. I haven't woke up with back pain or neck pain since we've got it. And I have scoliosis which makes sleeping a huge issue on most beds. If I ever need to replace this mattress, I'll be ordering the same exact one and for a good reason!
