Thick, warm sheets!

I wish I would have gotten the 24" deep pocket corner. The heavyweight flannel is easier to dry in 2 separate loads. They dry unevenly in 1 dryer load--too thick. Great to sleep on but they have already shrunk down in one washing and I think it was the length of drying time. Next time, I will get the bigger deep pocket corner. Nice sheets otherwise!

Color not accurate

Just put the sheets on but haven't tried them yet. Liked that the pillow cases were large and had closing flaps. My one complaint is the picture shows these as a light lavender though it says it's blue. In reality they are very dark-a navy or Steele blue.

Love these snuggly sheets

Again, Pointhaven are my "go to flannel sheets". These are the nicest, softest heavyweight flannel sheets I have ever bought! So warm and very comfortable! Highly recommend!

Terrible, poor quality

This item had holes in it after one wash with no agitator in the washing machine. Very disappointing considering I gifted it to a family member for the holidays and BBB's return policy won't cover this. A complete waste of money.

Cute dog print.

I love these. I ordered the dog print flannel sheets. They are cute. Good quality, soft. I washed them in warm water and dried on medium heat. They did not shrink.

So comfy!

This is my second order for these sheets. I love the thickness! I am cold all the time, so these sheets coupled with my down comforter is so comfortable. When morning comes, I hate getting out of my warm cocoon!

Metro 4 Piece Heavyweight Flannel Sheets Set

I love this set of heavyweight flannel sheets! They are made very well, are soft, comfortable and roomy. I don't have to struggle to get my pillow into the pillow case and the sheets are ample; fitting my bed substantially! I would definitely recommend this set of sheets. I like them so much I'm thinking about buying another set!

Beware they fade on whites.

They are not heavyweight. They smelled like burnt plastic so I had to wash them before using them. They are sort of a cream color and I washed them with light colored clothing and some whites. My whites are now yellow. They faded. I would not recommend them. I may be sending them back.

So thick and warm

They are so thick and so warm I love them. They are so heavyweight that they warm you up very quickly. My husband and I both adore these sheets. These sheets are not real soft like the old flannel sheets I remember from the 90s so at first I thought I wouldn't like them but I was wrong. They are fantastic and I will be buying me more.

Feels nice

These sheets feel soft and nice, I'm sure they are good for warmth in the winter, though it's spring now. I got the "Tiffany blue" color, which I do like, but the real thing does seem a little bit different from the color on the screen. I suppose that's not an uncommon occurrence when buying online. The fitted sheet did fit my twin XL mattress just fine. It was actually deeper than it needed to be, but that's because my mattress is only 8 inches deep, so I'm sure the extra depth will be good for those who have thicker mattresses.

Good price good product, but not great.

The combed cotton is comfortable. The color is good. Its first dryer cycle has significant shedding which can happen with combed cotton so I will need to see future cycles then judge. The fabric density is decent but not great; after all the product's description did say "heavyweight" while giving no measurable detail. For that price though, its actual thickness and weight are considered within expectation.

Had high hopes, but...

I bought 2 twin sets. After I washed them and put them on the bed, one set fit nicely. The other set had maybe a full size fitted sheet. I went back and looked at the packaging and they were definitely 2 twin sets that I ordered. I have to stuff it under the mattress and it fits very strangely. I guess it worked out in the end though though because after the second washing, the flat sheet of of the the sets ended up with and bunch of little rips in it along the fiber lines. Overall, rather disappointed with the sets that I received. Not sure of they are all like this. They were very soft and the print was beautiful, just should have lasted more than 2 washings and had the correct sheet set size in the packaging. I won't purchase this set again.

Nice sheets.

I would have preferred a slightly smoother feel but I guess that's why they are called flannel sheets and not satin sheets. Once I've kicked on the heating blanket to warm up the bed a little, these sheets hold the heart in quite well. The red wine color I ordered is bright and not a dull finish. Also, when you wash and dry, be sure to clean the dryer vent. The sheets left a lot of extra lint behind. I use Woolight Dark and salt to keep the colors from fading. I did order a larger size than my bed by accident but will keep anyway. I just tuck everything under ☺️. I would buy these sheets again.

Does not feel like flannel - big disappointment

I've bought many brands of flannel sheets, and I know how flannel is supposed to feel. These sheets have virtually no nap. They just feel like plain smooth cotton.They will not give you the cozy feeling of flannel. I'm very disappointed, because if I wanted plain percale sheets I would have bought them for less. Also, the word "heavyweight" on this product is inaccurate. As flannel goes, they are on the lighter side.

The sheets shrink horribly!

I washed the set (as recommended on the label) but in warm water with medium heat dryer (the instructions said cold water wash and low tumble dry). It's important to be able to wash bedsheets in at least warm water! Hot is better. Anyway, after they were washed the fitted sheet was miles away from fitting the bed. It barely fit my queen size guest bed. If that kind of shrinkage is occurring, the manufacturer needs to make them larger to accommodate shrinkage on washing.

Buyer beware! If I could leave a - ⭐️ review I would! I ordered a second pair of these sheets, because the first pair were warm and thick ( my favorite winter sheets)! So, I ordered another set same color for another bed in my house. SECOND SHEETS Are awful, I ordered gray the color isn’t Gray! It’s an ugly Tan-ish color! I didn’t realize the difference right away when I threw them in the wash until I put next to the other set. There not even as thick as first set! I’m extremely disappointed to say the least! You can see images below Color and stitching is different not at all the same!

The sheets are really soft and thick after you dry them in the dryer. My lint screen was completely filled with ultra soft fluff at the end of the drying cycle which is a good thing before you use them for the first time. Any bird would love to use the fluff for nest lining! The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the color of blue. It was considerably darker than the color showed on my computer. I have a nice Chromebook which is very reliable for showing colors as seen online so I don't think it's my computer that's lacking. The sheets still look great but I would have preferred a lighter blue to offset the snowflakes.

Decent enough for the price-green a little garish

This is a decent set of sheets for the price (I bought two different sets). I haven't washed them yet, but the weave appears somewhat sparse - you can easily see gaps in the thread. Hopefully the fabric will tighten up a bit when washed. The paisley pattern is pretty, but the green used is garishly bright. I was hoping for more of a subdued sage, in keeping with the rest of the print. I purchased the tan, white and blue snowflake set as well, and I'm pleased with this print. The color scheme is more cohesive - the colors all work well together.

Shrinkage more then acceptable for 100% cotton

Low rating is due to excessive shrinkage. The material is 100% cotton so I expected some shrinkage but not so much that they didn't fit my mattress. My mattress and topper measured 13 inches top to bottom and the description lists 16 inch pockets on fitted sheets so thought I'd have enough to factor in shrinkage. The sheets fit perfectly before washing but after washing in cool water and drying on low heat, they didn't wrap around bottom of mattress. The top sheet was also very short and barely tucked under the mattress. Material was thinner than expected considering the description states heavyweight. So if you choose to purchase these sheets, just factor in at least 3 inches of shrinkage.

Dependability for soft, warm flannel sheets

The quality of the Pointehaven sheets I purchased on Overstock was outstanding. I wanted sheets that were soft/fluffy after washed & warm to get between on a cold night, not so thin I could see my hand through the sheet when holding an edge up with my hand on the “underside” of the sheet. These were for my little 3yo granddaughter; I might also mention beside thin, the underside felt rough & scratchy. I sent them back, even tho they were form a major quality outfitter, so I thought. Never heard of Pointehaven but they stated 175 GSM or 5 oz weight. When they arrived for another gift I was able to feel the difference for myself. Went ahead & purchased a 2nd set for my little granddaughter (also Pointehaven). She loves them, and the cute puppy print, & doesn’t want them removed for washing each week. The other set is a Christmas gift. I found these by searching for soft, thick flannel sheets and Pointehaven fit the bill and was a winner x 2! I’m proud to be giving the second set as a Christmas gift, and know I’ve found dependability in the line of Pointehaven sheet sets from Overstock!
