Would not recommend

I put most of the bookcase together until it came to hammering the back, which my husband did. 12 of the nails bent and the boards kept splitting on him. I bought 2 bookcases like this in the past with minimal issues so I expected the same. He had a heck of a time putting it together.

Managing to get the shelves going in the same direction;two screws bent and I used 2 kinds of glue to heal some crunched up particle board. The worst part is the backing: on There no guides for where the " power pins" go I will never screw together another Furino bookcase. Previously, I tried a smaller version. That one had two back pieces taped together; so I finished this off with some Duck tape. Screwdrivers and mallets-and nails and nail legs/ these are not good toys.

Backing fits a bit short so when the nails are pounded in they miss the wood and hit right on the edge and cause the facing to break off. Shelves and sides went in good but the backing needs to be a bit wider. If I had not already put the rest together I would have returned it.

Getting what you pay for.

Look and Style are ok. As expected, this is pressed wood, covered with paper. It will work for needed shelf space, simple decor, etc. This is not going to last in a space that is required to function, like a kids room.

Great size for my daughters room, the quality isn't as good as other items I purchased, the back panels keep popping off so we needed better screws than what was provided. Works well in the room we need it in as far as space goes.

Bookshelf

This shelf is a good size for what I needed; it is not made as well as the previous shelf I purchased. It is good for something to last for a short time, it looks nice, just doesn't look or feel very durable.

Great size

I did not like that the pieces had scratch marks all over it but it's too much trouble to return it. I do like the size, it is perfect for extra storage in my small efficiency. I am 59 and I built it by myself I laid it on my bed to assemble and it took me about 30 mins. I am enclosing pics

Back Cheap

The back of this 3 Shelf bookcase is actually three very thin pieces that nail on. So you have seams in the back and when you put a book in and just press lightly the seams separate. Very cheap. This is unlike the back of the 3 Shelf Cube Bookcase that has one piece for the back is very sturdy.

This bookshelf met my expectations. I needed a shelf under 23 and 1/2 in wide and was having trouble finding anything that wasn't very narrow. I would have loved to have found something with a better quality wood but it was exactly as advertised and I was tickled to be able to find anything that worked.

Good deal

For the price it was a good deal. Less than $40. While putting pieces together I was not sure. Once done thankfully it feels fine. Either way, not sure how strong it will be while using it. I order it for my son of 8. I was looking for a small piece where to place books as compliment without sacrificing much space in his already small room. Also, my budget was tight so... either way, this one was the only one with the right measures to fit it. It seems to work fine by now.

Awful chemical smell.

I'd rate this higher but the chemicals that are used in the wood on this bookshelf are terrible. They're dangerous for children and infants especially to breath in and I was not expecting how bad this would be when I purchased it. It's been off gasing for several days in a well ventilated room for several days now and it still smells terrible. It's cute and was easy enough to build that I was able to do it by myself, but for me personally the chemical smell is not worth it. Wouldn't recommend for people who are sensitive to smells or for people with young children or infants. If it wasn't for the smell I would really like it. It's an affordable price and it looks really nice considering it's price.
