these wheels keep the barn door from swinging out when in is windy. Very easy to adjust and woks great to keep the barn door on track.

Use as intended. Not for overhead box rails.

I have used your product on my barn doors for 12 years with no issues. I noticed on your reviews a person trying to use door stays as overhead door runners. Not going to work my friend. Door stays won’t fit inside the box rails because they weren’t intended to. You need metal overhead door rollers for the box rail. The help at Tractor Supply should have been able to tell you that but unfortunately not all that are hired there aren’t agriculturaly adept in farming these days. Your critique is unfounded.

Durable and readily available

This is a door stay roller

This is intended to hold the bottom of a sliding door by rolling along the outside edge of the door bottom. It is not intended to ride/roll in the box rail. It works great as a bottom door stay roller, as it was intended.

This wheel doesn't fit your track!

I bought the box rails and these wheels for a gate and they don't fit the bix rails! The slot in the track is on the narrow side, where the axle on this wheel has to go; however the wheel is 2" and the width of the track where the wheel goes, relative to the axle is only 1 3/4". No one checked this. The staff at Tractor Supply were blown away when we showed them in the store that the wheel's too big for the box rail! They were going to talk to the rep. But I need some wheels that will work with the box rails. I'm hunting around to find 1 3/4 in wheels buy not having any luck so far. The wheels are also a thin plastic rim with plastic spokes inside do you can't just grind the wheels down to the right size. If the slot in the box rail were on the wide side rather than the narrow side, this would work fine, but it's not. I can't believe your engineering missed this. I want to hear back from National Hardware for a solution for this.

Great heavy duty stay roller. Has excelent adjustability. Use on all heavy duty doors I install. Would recommend this product for security, and to keep doors from moving in windy conditions. Easy to instal and adjust. I would recommend this product to anyone installing a large barn door or for an industrial look on a smaller door.
