Love the item, but.......

While I love the table, I have to admit I was not pleased with the purchase process. I realize the times we are in and all, but I paid for white glove service, to have the item brought in, unboxed, set up and boxing removed. Come to find out the shipping company doesn't come into houses and there was no other option to help. I am single and recovering from shoulder surgery, hence why I paid for the extra service, happily, but then had to scramble to find help. During this who issue, I never got a call from Hayneedle informing me of this, yet they took my money for the service. They did refund it eventually, but I had to call and coordinate all of that. If you can't offer the services, then don't charge for it upfront, change your system to verify and then charge later as needed or something..Don't know if I'll ever purchase from Hayneedle again, makes me leary and in this time when there are lots of businesses who appreciate the business, I may find other options.

Metal base is not solid black. It's streaked black/silver.
