As an over-thinker, I searched for countless months looking for a backsplash tile that was modern yet timeless and wouldn't date the kitchen in a couple of years. After what felt like endless searching, I knew this was the one as soon as I saw it! Then seeing it in real homes on reviews and hearing how much others loved it, I was totally sold! The patterns are so unique, it really gives an artsy feel to the space. I couldn't be happier! Everyone that sees it comments and loves it! (Note: the close-up picture was taken before the switch plate covers had been put on, and the lighting makes the black grout look lighter)

Simply amazingly gorgeous! Everyone is envious of my floor! (I was already fully aware that black shows everything). Tip… When grouting, follow the directions of doing the final wipe with a very well rung out microfiber. Do not let the grout sit in the grooves of the tile design, or it is very difficult to remove. Worth the extra work!!!

I ordered the white Gaudi patterned hex tile …just gorgeous!… I’ve been looking for tile for months going from one tile store to the next and just didn’t find a tile that excited me…and Lo and behold it was at Wayfair! …just got the delivery the tile was very securely fastened to a pallet and the delivery was done with great care!… thanks to Fritz Kanye!… extremely courteous and professional! They were great!

Nice pattern without being too busy

Installed ourselves, not too difficult-if following pattern more wastage. Great around shower, not slippery in the least. Also very comfortable under foot. Used with a black epoxy resin. Matte finish has a tooled leather look while making it good traction when wet. All tiles delivered in great condition-none broken. Overall a fantastic experience.

These tiles are great. The pattern looks like sea creatures or fossils and gives some texture to a very small bathroom. The white tile isnt bright white and the blue is quite muted but pretty. These tiles are quite big, so if you want to keep the pattern consistent, and you have lots of cuts to do, you might have to use more tile than you initially thought, but they do look great.

Best price that I've found anywhere. These tiles are so beautiful and versatile. Approved for showers which is where I am having mine installed. The floral embossment is subtle due to the matte finish but I love how interested the patter in. Reminds me of fossils.

So many compliments

If you are thinking about getting this tile, DO IT! It’s so pretty and I got asked several times if it was imported. The only issue we ran into is when cutting the pieces, they sometimes chipped a tiny bit. It was a brand new blade, and we had it happen a handful of times. The end product is gorgeous!

Completely fell head over heels in love with this tile. We used it as a backsplash behind a new invection cook top. It looks stunning. Was a little tricky to figure out the geometry of tiling it on the wall as we did it ourselves. Ended up with a fair amount of waste but it was a small space so no big deal. The tiles are absolutely stunning. Only complaint is that the pattern doesn't line up as perfectly as I'd like but I'm picky. Quality tiles and they came packaged extremely well so not one was damaged.

This tile is gorgeous. Everyone who sees it, including the tile guys and contractors, wants it in their homes. We installed it under the counter bar top where your feet and knees would mark up the wall. The grout is black but appears lighter in the photos. obviously this is a work in progress - but coming along beautifully. Highly recommend this tile for an eye catching accent.

Gorgeous

This tile is a show stopper! We literally stopped dead in our tracks when walking through the tile isle a couple months ago. It is not available in store (must order online.) The delivery was less than a week and the packaging was top notch. The tile has 3 patterns so laying it was easy just pay attention to the pattern. It cut like other tile I’ve laid, very little chipping when going slow at the ends. The grout wiped off easy, just take your time because there are lots of groves!

Not DIY friendly

This tile looks gorgeous but it was so hard to work with. It does NOT cut on your cheap tile snapper, and it chips on a cheap 7inch wet saw with expensive Bosch blade. Luckily, the chips can be colored in with a sharpie. The pattern, while simple, adds a layer of complexity and makes grout cleaning take three times longer than normal. I used maipei jet black grout and DAP black caulk. Both matched the tile okay. I paired with 4x12 white subway tile and MSI Glissen mixed glass tile.

Beautiful fun tile

I'm so glad I chose this tile over the blue subway tile I originally chose. I used the white and aqua Lux tile. The tile that doesn't say Lux in the description is matte and not polished. Because of the hexagon shape and embossed pattern it took the installers a week to finish. The only negative is there is no trim pieces, I bought trim from the same brand but it didn't match so i used the schluter metal trim and it looks good. I thought I would like the aqua tile best but the white is my favorite. The shower feels like I'm in an underwater scene when I'm showering.

Woooow. On a total whim (I usually take months of research and a billion samples to land on design choices) I saw this tile, read the reviews, and decided to order it for a powder room refresh. This was YESTERDAY afternoon. IT HAS ALREADY ARRIVED!! The packaging was fantastic and this matte black tile IS INCREDIBLE. Truly had my mouth drop open when I placed a few them together to see the impact. I couldn’t be happier to write this review!

Very beautiful artsy porcelin. Surface was high and low making cutting tricky. Use a new blade and blue tape to mark cuts. You can not be off even 1/16 as you have 3 sides of the hexagon to insert and match the patteren; you must level and be consistent with space for grout. Be patient or hire a very talented tile man. There can be a lot of wasted drop offs if you don't lay your tile out first. Order extra to be safe.

Gorgeous tiles! Pick your grout carefully!

I fell in love with these tiles. The originals are the same year as my house. In person, they’re gorgeous. I got the matte version (non luxe). It’s still kind of a satin finish.

Currently, my bathroom renovation is underway, so these beautiful tiles have not yet been laid. Therefore, I cannot comment on their installation. However, I put a few tiles out on my kitchen floor to see how they’ll look with the wall tile I’d chosen. They are so stunning that I ended up setting out the entire box. I couldn’t stop myself! I had loved the way they looked in the photos online, but they are even more gorgeous in reality. The colour is a rich, warm black. The shiny areas catch the light and reflect it like a diamond. Their texture compels me to touch them. Their pattern is interesting aside from the obvious ‘ammonite’ image, I detect a slight paisley, as well as exotic flower and leaf impressions. That’s just my visual imagination though it’s not obvious! I was pleasantly surprised by how securely and conscientiously they were packaged. So far, I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Gaudi Hex tiles. I had agonized before I ordered them because of their price. But, they are not something trendy which will go out of style. They are works of art, and I’m sure I’ll feel thrilled with my choice for decades. decades. purchase packaged.

We absolutely love this tile. But first the tile came in boxes that were totally destroyed. Good thing the plastic bands that secure them together kept the tile bundles together. With that being said there was no damage to the tile itself which is amazing and speaks to the durability of the tile.
