Broken mug

After I made my purchase, I found this item on two other sites for a less expensive price (I understand that’s my fault, not yours). BUT your customer service person said I could not cancel my order, even though it had not yet shipped. That was really annoying!! THEN, when the dishes arrived, one of the mugs was broken. I will NEVER buy anything from JC Penney’s again.

This set is beautiful! I cannot wait for my family to have our first dinner with them. Two of the cups arrived damaged but BB&B made it very simple to get replacements.

I love these dishes so much. I already had a setting for 8 and decided to add enough for a setting for 12. They make a beautiful table for all seasons.

Omg, super awesome dinnerware set. I bought several sets and only had to plates with a slight color variation … but it’s fire glazed so it’s expected. Other reviews said the coffee mug was awesome and big - and they are right.

This is such an amazing set of dishes, but unfortunately some came broken :(

This is a very nice set. But the plates are easily scratched from forks and knives.

Just what I was looking for

I searched all over the internet for the perfect set of dishes to compliment my newly remodeled country kitchen. I wanted something simple but not the plain white that I see everywhere. This set was exactly what I was searching for. They are an off white or light cream color with brown specks. They are light enough in color to look great with my country white walls and the brown specks look great with my brown open shelving. The dishes are very sturdy and fine quality. I ordered a second set.

A little more brown in the rim than expected but good quality. They’ve deemed a fair competitor to my porcelain sink so far. FYI mugs are hefty as heck.

Loooove these! We’ve been looking for dishes similar and when we saw these, we knew they were it! We received them today and they definitely live up to the hype. Perfectly imperfect and that’s what I wanted! No two dishes are the same! Love it!
