A Chinese product that definitely surprised me in its entirely successful effort. Don't misunderstand me-- I have nothing against Chinese people, but the government and manufacturing base will quite obviously create some doubt. . . I can't review this recliner for longevity, of course, or for the quality of the leather, because it's new. I notice that oftentimes people are prematurely impressed with a product; the fall for certain sensations or for their own excitement. . . But I will say that, objectively, I really do expect this recliner to perform beautifully over many years. . . It's quite substantial. Very stout. It weighs ninety pounds. The mechanism for reclining seems quite solid. . . The seating is quite high-- it might bother some people, but I welcome it. Very firm support. Obviously it uses strong pocketed coil springs, which are renowned. . . The leather seems to be of high quality, but leather is somewhat controversial; many kinds of leather are in circulation, of many provenances. I won't know right away, but I've already bought cleaner and conditioner to keep the leather in good condition and appearance. . . It is stitched and folded very, very nicely. It is suitably thick. It has a beautiful grain, and is colored with good uniformity (I chose the burgundy red). . . I am thus far absolutely thrilled with my purchase here with Houzz, and I very much appreciate the transparency of the website, giving me a good perspective on whatever product I'm considering. . . It feels wonderful to sit down on this beautiful recliner, pull it back into a horizontal position, and really, really relax. I have some spinal disease typical of older men who've worked hard, and this is a Godsend.

Not a fan of these chairs at all! Was so excited to get them after reading the reviews and boy are they disappointing! First off I am not super tall (5’6) and my head is at the top of these chairs. When you extend them for your legs there is no support for your neck at all, so trying to read or watch tv is not relaxing at all. The look of them is great, the construction feels super cheap and wobbly. For the price I expected better. I would defiantly recommend spending extra and buy a better brand. The only reason I am keeping them is for my kids to sit in otherwise I would definitely have sent them back.

WOW!

Just received today, 2 days early! up boxed outside and brought inside. Everything was expertly packed and wrapped, not a mark. Very easy to put legs on and then flip over and slide bak into place. This chair is very well made. very comfortable. So my initial impression is WOW. I will update if anything changes.

Great Value & Comfortable

This chair is a great value for the price. It starts a little firm, but of course, softens over time. It is beautiful and has a very high-end look. I actually replaced a $* recliner that had a broken foot mechanism with this one. You can't even tell the difference. The chair is for my husband who is not extremely tall, and it fits him perfectly. My grandson, the only other person who sits in it, gives it a "thumbs up".

I finally got be have my very own recliner. Love the feel of the leather. We chose the blue. Very rich color and the nailhead trim completes the look of the chair. Really ties it together. Very comfortable and will last for many years.

We got our chairs earlier than expected. Easy to put together. Leather is soft and easy to clean. Had to clean it immediately because of 7 year old. They are a very nice complementary addition to our living room. We bought 2 as accent chairs. The only thing I don't like is the manual push down to detract the foot rest. It is a little stiff. Other than that these are very nice chairs.

Very High-End Look!

Oh my goodness! I absolutely LOVE this chair. Very easy to assemble and incredibly soft and comfortable. The nail head trim gives it a very expensive look and while it wasn't cheap, it looks more expensive than it was! I purchased the beige one and the color is perfect for my space.

I love these chairs! Super comfortable. The website's pictures and description didn't do these chairs justice! I bought two olive green recliners. They go great with the retro mid-century modern lamp I bought from this site; as well as the rest of my vintage retro furniture.

I have the red/burgandy version of this chair and it looks much more expensive than the purchase price. It is well- constructed, with Velcro attachments to maintain a smooth appearance and cover the mechanical parts of the recliner. The leather is of good quality and not easily damaged by pet claws. I would not hesitate to purchase this in other colors if I had a space that needed a recliner of this size.

The chair arrived ahead of schedule and was easy to put together per the instructions. I like the size and it fits well in my apartment. It is going to take some breaking in to soften the seat cushion and compress it slightly. The headrest could be more cushioned and the footrest could be longer. Overall, I like it and would recommend it for people who have smaller spaces.

I purchased these chairs to replace my rocker recliners. While they do recliner that action is not easy for me to accomplish. The chairs are stunning and a great touch of sophisticated to my living area. They are also super comfortable.

I love my new Brigida Cigar Leather Recliner!

I received this chair in the blue and it exceeded my expectations! It was easy to assemble and everything was there. The leather was perfect and no damage. It is very soft and works perfectly to recline back all the way..

Nice Recliner, but will show some wear after 1yr

Comfortable and nice looking, great size to fit lots of places, reclining is easy, just push back! At 1yr old, the leather is flaking/peeling a little on the arms and the headrest area. The seat is squeaking and the cushion is flattening a bit. Not built for the long run if you want it to look pristine, but still functional.
