I installed this particular Schlage entryset on my new woodworking shop, I have only installed Schlage on my exterior doors for their reliability, security, and durability. The warranty is pretty darn good.

Classical and practical, good-looking hardware.

Needed hardware in an hurry and these were in stock. My local Hillcrest Ace Hardware delivered them before my carpenter asked for them. Very happy with the final results of the project.

Bought 3 of these to get whole house alike. Keyed all the same. Great product. Easy to follow instructions

This Lock set was to replace the same one with a broken cylinder pin which lasted about 11 years. Installation was easy and the provided heavier duty strike plate for the deadbolt made it more secure and the lock easier to turn which is why the pin broke in the first place because it was too tight. Overall, a great lock and worth the extra cost

Not worth the price

I got locked out , because the little thumb knob did not snip back like it was supposed to do when I went out

Recently installed, so far so good. It’s exactly what you would expect. Easy to install. Smooth operation and solid feel.

More locks should come as a set

Why are deadbolt and knob sets hard to find? When I change one, I am 100% going to change the other. This set replaced a kwikset set and the knob was an exact fit, but the deadbolt took a little work to replace. It is fine because the deadbolt had a hard time closing and this gave me a reason to fix it.

Striker plates required door jamb work. The tool that removed the knob difficult to use. Guided for screws assembling the two knobs would be helpful

I just purchased this lock to replace Kwikset (or whatever the heck it is) and I must say it’s very smooth. Didn’t have to do any modifications to the door or the door jam being as it was a different manufacturer this time. That was pretty cool! Love the color personally I think these combo locks cost a little bit more than they should. Everything has been raised by $30. That sucks it says lifetime guarantee, certified highest security, I guess we will wait and see.

It was fairly easy to install but it is not really a standard size. The deadbolt plate required me to resize the area so that the lock would work.

We easily installed with just a screwdriver. It took less than 30 minutes. The locks operate smoothly and it gave our old door a needed facelift. We feel more secure with the new lock and deadbolt.

Lives up to the Schlage Name

The knob and deadbolt complement the door nicely, and both seem very durable. The strike plates are not as deep as the originals, but nothing that a small shim couldn't overcome. Everything else fit perfectly into the existing framework, and I am satisfied with this purchase.

I bough this for my new cabin. I just replaced all my locks at home with Schlage because I think they are the best. I bought a new set for my cabin and could easily have the lock changed to match my house key. So all I need is one key. It is so easy!
