I replaced a delta 600 series. I wanted to switch it out with matte black. I experienced 3 product flaws that created horrible leaking.

Returned it… The Round back of the handle was plastic!?

I like the style and color

While it fits the appropriate delta 600 series faucet, I was looking for a more modern look with the black handle instead of the “crystal” one - the black handle fits so loosely, it looks really cheap.

Easy install

Wanted to change our shower fixtures to black. Was very easy install. Not many other options for our housing and cartridge.

It replaced my 80's Delta faucet. It looks nice and modern. It works great. I bought the black one, but it didn't come with screws, so I used my old silver screws .

Don’t throw your old delta screws

Looks great once installed, like that you get both handles to see which one looks best, shanked old delta handle hardware, the only drawback was the screws for new shower handle were to small and did not reach pipe completely, we had to use the original screws to secure the back of shower handle.

Shower Re-fit

Fit my bathroom project. Everything and more then I expected. Came with clear knob if you wanted that option. I choose the handle. Handle easy to install, just follow the instructions.

Not many other choices

We decided to switch to black shower hardware. Did not want to change the plumbing, so this was the only option I could find. The old shower hardware was over 20 years old. The screws were too short and buying long black headed screws cost more than I wanted to pay. So I painted the heads of the exisitng screws and so far so good. We had the "ball" handle and switched to the lever handle. Works fine, just could not get the handle orientation to be vertical in the off position. Could be me. So it is not perfect visually. I assumed ball versus lever is the problem.

little things make it not excellent. screws are shorter and have tappered point so are too short. handle to long to clear diverter spout. had to use old screws to pull valve close enough to trim plate to reach

Flaking and peeling

Almost immediately after installing, we. noticed the black paint flaking and peeling away. Less than one week in, it has gotten worse. Needs to be replaced. no harsh cleaners or abrasives have been used.

Screws for faceplate were 1/2" short. Hardware store doesn't stock...

Screws for faceplate were 1/2" short. Hardware store doesn't stock a black 3" 10/24 , so I had to use the old gold ones.
