This has been getting daily use. Its very helpful to transition as part of the bench stays outside the bathtub. You can then slide to the side of the bench that is inside the tub.

Be careful to note the measurements

Long gone are the days of the old steel tub that sat 15" off the floor. I have found it challenging to find a transfer bath bench that would clear my 20" high deep tub. My husband has undergone 4 surgeries in the last 4 years, each time we have had to resort to sponge baths for months on end because transfer benches do not allow for anything over 18". For this reason, this very nice transfer bench gets a rating of 3 stars. If they could have created an extended exterior leg to extend to 22" this would have received 5 stars. It has the nice feature of a shower head holder, an additional shampoo holder and the very convenient ergonomic grab holder for smooth transition.

This is an excellent seat. It is stable with a good design that ensures a smooth transition/slide for our loved one with mobility challenges. The hand hold is great, and the small holder for the shower nozzle is just perfect. Our loved one is using it for shaving her legs, not to sit under a shower spray. This seat enables her to do that, as trying to do this while standing in the shower is not an option any longer. She also appreciates the cup that holds her shaving supplies. A well thought out design overall.

Buildcomt SCAMMING for Shipping fees Not my Fault!

The SELLER: BUILDCOM has been charging me also besides Walmart who I originally paid and I called Walmart CS and found out there was only one order I placed when I asked there were 2-itmes I received. I asked to double check how many packages or boxes with one order. It should be one. Then, I told them the bank said there were 2-items that were charged, one was Walmart plus the SELLER with a different name and not Buildcom. So, CS said the item were DUPLICATED. I mentioned this other item I received was a mistake because I went back to Walmart online website, it showed for only 1-item. Buildcom has been charging me for $18 for instigating it was me who charged twice. Walmart CS already fixed this issue because as soon as these items were DELIVERED. i asked right away that there were 2 boxes shipped, which it was investigated a duplicated order. I didn't place the order.

You could not have the right section outside the shower stall as you need the shower curtain across to keep the water in!! I had to return as totally dysfunctional.

Very hard to clean

This tub bench is the best aid to getting in and out of the tub and for sitting for a shower. I had help to put it together and didn't want the back rest. I can't imagine my life without this bathtub bench. It's safe, sturdy, and holds a very large person. Since part of the bench is outside of the tub it's easy to sit on to lift the legs into and out of the tub.

I have been looking for this exact type of bench and was happy to find it on Wayfair reasonably priced.

Lightweight, but strong and sturdy. Very convenient. Delivery was perfect !!!

I like the elegance of the bench, the protection that it gives me and the ease of getting in and out of my tub.

If you have a walk in, it’s great!!!! If a tub, not so much. Since the legs extend outside the tub, the curtain doesn’t hang properly and when showering, it’s very difficult to position the liner inside to avoid water spillage. Every time I shower there’s water on the floor no matter how hard I try. It is sturdy and safe. Good for a walk in shower.

Large and solid. Pretty easy to assemble with good instructions and packaging that helps. Adjusting large outside leg height really require two people.
