Yes, they're plastic but you can CLEARLY see the quality of the chair. I decorated it with a faux fur sham on the seat and it looks even better, but don't tell Philippe Starck I did that. ;)

Beautifully Moulded Kartell Chair

This chair is an absolute thing of beauty that is sturdy and comfortable. It's pricy due to it being a Ghost Chair design by Philippe Starck for Kartell Victoria. You definitely get what you pay for. Cheaper alternatives are of course out there but do not have the sturdiness nor refinement that this chair does. It has a beautiful slim silhouette and due to it being transparent it doesn't overwhelm a small space. I'm in the process of sorting a bespoke made cushion to add a splash of colour and comfort to it as I use it as a dressing table chair. It's a real investment and statement piece that will last for many years and I love it!

Just what I was looking for

I needed a chair in the spare bedroom, but the old one I had was too dark and big. So this chair is see through ( transparent) so it was hardly noticeable. Brilliant

These will be perfect with my JONATHAN ADLER acrylic and glass game table. Being translucent, they are "there", but "not there." They just don't take up any visual space!

Kartell Victoria Ghost chair

As per previous reviews, I have been converted! Ideal in a small guest room as a desk/dressing table chair - uncluttered look? About to order another one.

Just what I was looking for

Purchased this chair to use with a desk/ dressing table and it is just perfect.The dimensions are ideal, narrow enough to be able to tuck in the gap.Being clear, the chair does not look as if it takes up space in the small area it is in.It is comfortable to sit at.It comes with rubber feet so I don't need to worry about it scratching the wooden floor.All in all, I am very happy.Time will tell how well it wears in terms of scratches etc but no issues so far.The delivery was fast and smooth. Thank you JL.
